40 years of Hyannis Inn

The Hyannis Inn is located right on Main St in Hyannis! You can walk to local shops and restaurants! I let them know I needed a first floor room and they were very accommodating! My husband and I have been staying at this Inn for 40 years! It has changed ownership in those 40 years, but is still enjoyable

Awful right from the start

Was a terrible experience right from the start. We found the room was too small for our family so we asked for some options for something larger (even offering to pay more). The manager became very defensive and refused to give any sort of solutions or flexibility. Awful customer service. I’ve been traveling for years for business and have never had an experience like this. We ended up not staying there and went to a much better hotel in town. They refused to give any kind of refund and continued calling us all night about not giving us a refund. They were rude to my wife and kids and I can’t accept that.

The rooms seemed to have been recently updated and were bright and airy. Cute little wrought iron style side tables and chairs in front of the rooms so you could sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle of Main St. Although it’s on Main St. it’s set far enough back be that you aren’t bothered by street noises. It was so convenient to be able to walk out and a short walk away in either direction you could grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. There’s even a convenience store very close in case you forgot to pack something. I would happily stay here again!

The staff and location were excellent. Room was cozy and comfortable and we will definitely stay there again. The only problem was that the site has check in at 9:am and that is not true. Seeing as check out is 11, how could it be. The host was very apologetic about the mix up and called us as soon as the room was ready.

Overall, our room was comfortable. The supply of towels was ample. The property was in the midst of acquiring a new roof, so there were obstacles to wend around. It like work would be completed within a few days.

Excellent experience. Arianna, front desk set up roses and a little complimentary box of win for my partner and I! The roses, two toned, were in the shape of a large heart! Really above and beyond what we expected. I simply told them I was there on a special romantic getaway! Strongly recommend!!

Shower gel container was completely empty which I didn’t notice til I was in the shower. Never should be left empty!
