The shower didn't have good pressure due to the low flow shower head. The shower curtain bar was about to break off. The light fixture in the bathroom was held in place by folded toilet paper. All around worn condition of the room.

My husband and I, along with our dog Oscar (a mini Dachshund), stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Huntsville/Space Center for our one-year wedding anniversary. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a pleasant atmosphere. On our first night, we had dinner at the restaurant in the lobby. The food was decent, though the flavors were a bit underwhelming, and the prices were about what you'd expect at a hotel restaurant. We did enjoy our stay, but there were a couple of disappointments. The pool was not very clean — it was the first weekend of fall, so there were leaves floating in the water, and the bottom of the pool looked dirty even though the water itself was clear. We booked a Peloton room, but the footbase on the bike was missing, which made it difficult to use properly. Lastly, there was no Bible in the room. That’s not a major issue for us, as I had my personal one for church on Sunday, but I had thought that was standard in most hotel rooms. Despite a few small issues, we appreciated the overall cleanliness and comfort of the hotel, and we enjoyed our anniversary weekend.

I am already a fan of Hilton Garden Inns. This trip did not disappoint. When I traveled for my work life, I was a diamond member because it was my "go to" hotel. Now that I am retired and do not travel as much, my husband and I love Hilton Garden Inns. Clean, staff very helpful and friendly. This location in Huntsville AL was perfect for visiting the Space and Rocket Center and plenty of shopping and dining nearby.

Typical Hilton Garden Inn, but very disappointed some expected amenities were gone. Specifically ice water in an urn, and all day coffee/tea. When I inquired at the desk the very polite desk clerk informed me that they got orders from “upper management” who visited that this was no longer “on brand.” Other similar brands offer this. Returning on a hot Alabama day, ice water would have been a nice touch. Won’t go out of my way to stay here again.
