Not a good atay!

Just a one night stay. The room was functional with USB power and essential bathroom items. The bed was lousy as were the pillows - did not get a restful sleep. The breakfast was a joke - limited selection, employee sitting in front of microwave heating up breakfast sandwiches to put in hot case, and coffee was awful. In all, terrible experience given the cost of the room.

This is an older property, but it is well maintained and very clean. I would absolutely stay here again. I learned a previous manager used to serve coffee concentrate every morning, apparently thinking we are animals or that it's 1973. Luckily those days are over, loved the coffee and friendly staff. Don't miss a walk on the bridge sidewalk and the really nice bar just beside the hotel down the boardwalk, "Small Craft."

The hotel is rundown and worn out. NO restaurant or bar and no mention of this anywhere in the hotel info. Do not stay here. Room was dirty, worn down and noisy. They need to do a total renovation or demolition.

7AM house cleaning running equipment so loud my entire room shakes. After going in the hallway the girl says sorry only have to do it 1 more time, then continues make very loud noise. Go down stairs and tell front desk lady, as you can hear the noise down there even, and she plays dumb and says she doesnt hear anything. Very rude. Of course the hot tub is broken too.

The hotel was in a great location right next to the Houghton-Hancock bridge. My family dropped off our son to Michigan Tech and explored.

Very welcoming and helpful front desk staff. Very clean property overall. Conveniently arranged room, super clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed, though pillows were rather hard. We really enjoyed our room with a waterfront view. Hot tub was great. Complimentary breakfast was great with a full range of options. We would gladly stay at this property again.

Older hotel, but very clean, very well taken care, of everything was great. Could not have slept better at night. The bed and the linens were extremely comfortable.. No, if the coffee maker in the room was k cups. The breakfast in the morning was breakfast Sandwiches, waffles, muffins,cereal etc. Stayed 4 nites while seeing the sites. Great stay!

Room was quiet and clean. Staff were very helpful and available. Location was nice since it is right on the river/canal. Pool was decent as was the sauna. Breakfast options were on the weaker side - almost kind of disappointing to be honest, but good places near by to get a good breakfast. The whirlpool jets were out of order so that was kind of a bummer. Not that I needed it since it is just 2 floors, but there is no elevator.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Ramada. Even though it is in Hancock, it is a very quick walk into downtown Houghton as well. The staff was amazing! I was also impressed with the variety of items that were served for breakfast. I will return to this hotel if we stay in Houghton/Hancock again.
