Retro feel

This hotel was like stepping back into my childhood. Very retro feel but updated, clean and comfortable. It even had the “ old, retro “ type swing sets in the play park. Very cool. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Rooms were so spacious, the bed was comfortable, the staff was so pleasant and the VIEW WAS WONDERFUL! It is not NEW or MODERN like Hyatt, but it is clean and amazing!!!

Beautiful!!

This is such a beautiful place with amazing landscaping and views of the river and the river's activity. Nice spacious room and good bathroom, quiet with a lot of really pretty places to walk. We will be back and we highly recommend this property.

Great Find

This is a well maintained place on the Columbua river with a great view. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with places to sit, firepits, BBQ's, tables. The room was small but very ckean and comfortable with a great view from the room. Its a quick drive to downtown Hood River.

Must stay location.

The location was great as it sat on a cliff of the Columbia River. The grounds were impeccable with beautiful flowers and trees. They had Adirondack chairs on the cliff so you could enjoy the view. It was fun watching kite surfers in the river. We didn’t realize Hood River is known as pthe top kite surfing capitol of the world. The bed was very comfortable. The buildings are older but well kept up. Wonderful stay.

The setting of the Westcliff Lodge was absolutely beautiful with it being on the river and the beautiful flowers and the trail behind the property. We throughly enjoyed our visit. The room with the picture window and the amenities was great. I would definitely recommend to others and if I am back in the area, I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful place! The room was perfect. Super clean and pretty with generous amenities. Our view from the room was amazing. the grounds of the lodge were flush with gorgeous and well tended flowers. Such a great place to stay!!!!

The bluff overlooking the Columbia was some of the most relaxing time we have ever had on vacation. Not too many people, gorgeous views, comfy chairs and the beautiful garden of flowers walking up to the bluff couldn't have been more perfect!

Columbia Gorge Sightseeing

It was a beautiful older motel with a lot of history. The room was spacious. Really enjoyed everything about the room. The grounds with all the gardens and flowers were nice to see. Close to the Columbia River. Not too far from town or restaurants. Nice location for river gorge sightseeing.
