Hollis Center Vacation Packages

The hotel is in a great location, literally a two-minute walk to downtown Wolfeboro, which was definitely the biggest plus for us. Our room was clean, and our interactions with the front desk were perfectly fine. We did not eat at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food. Our room, I believe #105, was right next to the check-in area and was a handicap-accessible room. The window was basically at ground level, and between that and the room lighting, it felt a little dark. The hotel does have a small beach area, but unfortunately it really wasn’t set up to be enjoyed. There were only about seven lounge chairs for the entire hotel, and they weren’t very comfortable. There were also three Adirondack chairs, one of which was broken. There were no beach towels or umbrellas available. Luckily, we had brought our own beach chairs, towels and umbrella. The area where the “pool toys,” floats, etc. were stored was locked, so none of those were available to use either. Just to clarify, there is no swimming pool at the hotel. There was also a firepit, but we were told it couldn’t be used due to fire department restrictions because of the dry conditions, which is obviously understandable. One thing that really surprised me was how much unused potential the hotel has. There is a good-sized porch off one of the function rooms that would have been a great place to sit in the morning with a cup of coffee, but there were no chairs or seating out there at all. It was our first time visiting Portland, and the Evalina exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on Commercial Street, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The ferry and cruise ports are also just a 5–10 minute walk away, making it easy to visit the different islands. The suite was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need, including an umbrella for rainy days, coffee and a French press, tea, a washer and dryer, and so much more. Communication was excellent throughout our stay as well. We truly enjoyed our visit, and the next time we’re in Portland, the Evalina will be our first choice!

Need to step up with breakfast choice. It was ok but need more choices and eggs looks lie it was warm up.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms, beds, and all the details are so incredible. I wish I could have stayed longer. Check in was a breeze as well. You can tell they take a lot of care and thought into the property. I will definitely be back

We had no idea how fabulous our stay was going to be! The loft space was beautifully appointed and so inviting. Full kitchen had amenities you didn't even know you wanted (frozen marble wine bottle holder, deluxe swivel Scrabble game and art books, anyone?). The whole place left you feeling spa-like and city-savvy at the same time. Hannah and Anna were the staff who helped us--they were responsive, courteous, and answered all of our questions before and during our stay. Check-in was super easy. The location was perfect--right in the heart of the Old Port, so we walked to everything. Don't miss this fabulous place!
