We liked that it was safe, quiet, and had a spacious room, comfortable bed, hot water for shower, nice indoor pool and hot tub, good breakfast and coffee. We didn’t like that the keys hardly worked, ice machines didn’t work (but mgmt had ice behind desk), and our toilet wouldn’t flush (but mgmt fixed it quickly).

The property was nice and place was clean. Im not sure if they lack staff or funds. None of the ice machines worked, nor did the vending machines. We did not have proper towels in room, the shower was terrible and breakfast was to be desired. Coffee was horrible.

Hadnt been cleaned, food on linens, open soap, no trashcan, no towels not one , not enough staff Soap holder in shower held on by 10 long exposed screws. Nothing in walking distance. I liked the pool and hot tub and that was it.

Property was not even close to looking like website. The outside property was covered in weeds. The rooms were dirty (carpet was disgusting), bugs in room, don't think it has been thoroughly cleaned in years and extremely outdated. This property should not even appear as an Expedia booking. I have never stayed in a place this unacceptable.

We picked this hotel based on price and location. The pool was clean, with a nice outdoor patio area to sit with family and friends. We liked the breakfast in the morning, with a nice seating area. We also liked how the hotel was dog friendly. However, the hotel is a bit run down as a whole. There were stains on the carpet and the couches in the lobby were old. Our room on the third floor had a tub that drained very, very slowly, and the towel rack/shelving unit came apart from the wall. It was also very difficult to get needed towels from the front desk, when you could find someone there to help you.

You get what you pay for... kind of

When I got there, they told me they weren't going to be able to honor the rate I had been promised during booking via Hotels. Okay. Whatever. Long trip, 5 hours straight driving without a break, I just wanted to park my items in a room and relaxed. Well, this hotel is amazingly unclean and dated for them not being able to honor Hotel special coupon prices. They should be ashamed for renting our room with the font closet being as messed up as it is. It's like somebody pulled the trim half up, they gave up on the project, and just covered it with dark carpet to hide it. The tile in the bathroom is also coming up and very loose when you step in it, the corners lifting. Stubbed my freaking toe. Random mattresses in the hallway? The elevator was broke for 1 of our 2 day trip. Ice machine broken. But it was relatively clean and a safe place to sleep on vacation, so there's that. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating and kind. So good customer service, building just needs updated badly and the prices need to chill until there's been some modernizing and new carpeting and maybe paint.

Stayed for 5 nights and booked three rooms total. Nothing about our stay is pleasant. Maybe a night or two at most are doable without any kids. Cleanliness: One out of three rooms smelled like cigarette smoke, and we kept telling the front desk about the issue, but there were no available rooms. I was given a spray to use, but that didn’t help. I asked them to clean the room, hoping it would help, but it was not cleaned after three requests. Another issue was towels; you must justify why you need a towel replacement. Additionally, none of the bathroom ventilation works. The room is dirty, including the shower head and shower knobs, the air conditioner (black stuff), and the microwaves Food: not many options, and you constantly have to ask for them to refill everything. Saw the guy refilling the utensils, and some fell on the floor instead of throwing them away, he put them back inside the box for use Pool: The floors are not cleaned well. It is expected that the floors will be wet, but slimy and wet means they aren’t cleaned, which caused my daughter to slip and hit her head. What made it worse is that none of the ice makers on each floor are working, so you have to ask for ice at the front desk. Out of everyone working there, Allen, who works at night, is the only one you can rely on. Key card: You need to reactivate it every day. The issues we encountered are just half of the problems mentioned above.

Lots of noise from room above us, we were on 2. Ice machine was broke, they later went and got bags. 1st impression was very wrinkled bedding. Breakfast bar was very lacking 2 apples, we ate breakfast and still waffle mix was empty after asking employee about it. Dirty tables. Good location

Couldn't beat the price, but with that comes why it is priced this way. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt considering we were told at check in that they were going to remodel and there was trailers on the property that I have seen at other establishments when remodeling is taking place. I re considered when two couples with children were parked next to us and discovered a needle in the landscaping. I know these situations cannot be controlled, but it is the responsibility of the Hotel to check landscaping for trash and other things such as needles. I couldn't let it go. I worked in the restaurant industry and I do understand that in public establishment you cannot also control every situation. other than the coffee being awful I have no other complaints.

If you are traveling on a budget, this is a winner! Very clean, nice pool and hot tub area. Patio with nice seating and a grill and the breakfast was really good. Cannot expect much more from a place for that price! Would certainly stay again.

It was adequate and okay for the price point. The tub didn’t drain very well so ankle depth water during shower. Sheets were clean, but full layer of dust on top and back of tv, on top of lamps, headboard, and all pictures. Carpet behind tv stand never say a vacuum. Check in receptionist was unapologetically rude. The pool area and hot tub were nice. Outdoor area was cute and nice but could use some attention with cleaning maintenance. Outdoor cushions desperately need replaced. Breakfast for entire hotel was only 1 hour long from 8-9. Like I said it was adequate for $100/night and pleasant enough, but room felt kind of dirty overall and I do not plan to stay here again. I wished that I had payed a bit more and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express where I have stayed before and had fabulous experience.

When I called front desk Tuesday night she would not help even though I was a rewards member, told me to use hotel.com or Expedia which I used Expedia & went through fine.but could not get my rewards for best western, the lady at the front desk in the morning didn’t care. She was a bit arrogant. We arrived after midnight was first told room came up dirty then it only needed a blanket , bed was not fully made. The man did try to help by checking the room. He said It looked ok, couldn’t take a shower because shower head was broken & hanging down. Did ask for a different room. He said he couldn’t. We were very disappointed. The best western in Marquette was 100% better.

Entrance, pool and patio were nice. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was understaffed. Long lines at check in. Some limited food at breakfast. Hotel keys were easily deactivated. Our first floor room had water damage or something. Black on the walls. Dirty damp carpet. Told manager to have our room cleaned on a two night stay which didn't happen.

Comfortable beds. 2 queens, not fulls so they are nice and big. Much better hotel than I expected.
