I woke up and found a lizard in my room. I scooped him up, walked to the front desk, showed the man working there, who didn't say or do ANYTHING, and then I released the little fella outside in the landscaping. I paid $65 for the room so my expectations were not high, but at least have someone at the desk who will acknowledge that's not normal and apologize for the inconvenience.

Prefer Choice over Wyndham

The lady at check was not so nice and welcoming. Everything else was good. I now prefer Choice over Wyndham hotels.

LOUSIEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER

Hotel charges a convenience fee after room is booked and Hotel.com did not make this right. I thought charging extra fees after the fact was illegal, if not its super shady. Hotel was run down with leaks all over the lobby, broken access doors, no elevator, spa not working, and the complimentary breakfast is part of their new convenience fee. Not really complimentary if you are now paying for it. And to top it all off , my key card would only open the door every other or every third time
