Absolutely wonderful! We loved our hilltop view, the fresh air, and the complimentary coffee in the morning. Our room was pristine and the staff were exceptional. The property is gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful. Downtown is easily accessible while still feeling removed (which is ideal for us). We were surprised firewood wasn’t included with the room, but it was worth the extra fee. And breakfast options are limited in my opinion, so we opted to eat downtown instead on our second day there.

Bottom line, would I stay here again? Yes, now that I've been through the check in process but that was an absolute headache the first time around. Also, apartment complex isn't very well kept up on the outside. Walkways were very dirty and the area was a bit run down. The inside of the apartment was pretty clean though and I had no issues with anything inside and it was a comfortable stay. The issue with check in is A LOT of miscommunication. First off, the address repeatedly given to me in texts and emails was for the head office, NOT the actual apartment unit. The head office knew about the Landing rentals but sent me to the wrong building in the very large complex. I finally go the correct address when on my 5th or so call to Landing, I was given a PDF via email that I was told should have been provided automatically. Second, I was also told, repeatedly that there was a key box in the walkway that I would enter a code into and that would give me the key to the apartment. I did find one of those boxes like they put on homes being sold so realtors can access the property but none of the codes sent to me would open it. Turns out, the multiple codes I was sent, over multiple calls wasn't for this at all, there is actually a digital lock on the door to the unit. ADDITIONALLY, the codes sent wouldn't have worked for that either! I was sent multiple 4 digit codes, the door takes a 7 digit code. I'm like 6 calls in at this point!!! WTH??

Very dated condo floors are falling apart literally move under your feet tiles lift there's no air conditioning till it was very hot screens are all ripped only windows were doors only way to keep air moving through it was keep the doors open probably a nice spot for the winter time outside of the nasty floors

The manager did not respond to multiple attempts to reach him regarding the dryer not working. It’s important to understand that this is not a true hotel room or property, but extended stay apartments where long-term tenants reside in the same buildings as rooms that are rented for shorter stays. This caused an issue because our kids disturbed a downstairs neighbor while they were simply playing. There was no information left on how to dispose of trash, so we drove around with trash bags until we found the one dumpster for the entire property. The pool doesn’t look anything like it does in the photos, and its claim to be a “resort style” pool is a joke. There were cracks in the concrete and no shaded areas. The restrooms were not open at the pool and we had to walk into the front office dripping wet to locate a toilet.

We stayed at Landing for 4 nights. It was our 1st time booking an apt. instead of a hotel room. We wanted more space for our 60-lb dog. The apt was clean, neat & cozy. The area was quiet. Customer service was great. I would recommend Landing for the reasons above. We drove from NY to NC (12-hr drive). On Sunday morning (day #2), we found a boot on our car & had to pay two hundred to get it removed. A few cars had boots on them as well. I believe the area is owned by Landing. I don't think the owners of those cars knew about a parking pass either. Upon arrival, I spoke w/an agent who emailed me a pdf instruction & that's what we followed to check in. It didn't mention anything about a parking pass. I didn't think to check the app since I had the instructions, but when I did on Sunday w/the help of an agent, the info wasn't there. I spoke w/other agents & no one mentioned where to look for the mailbox key (which has the key fob for the gym) or parking pass. The items were not in plain sight. When you enter the apt, there are side/end & coffee tables, computer desk & entertainment center - all visible & w/in the living room area (see pics). The items were not left on any of them, but instead by the coffee maker which is towards the back of the kitchen next to the laundry room. If you put anything on the counter that obstructs your view of the coffee maker, you will not see the items. Keep that in mind. Anyway, we were disappointed that Landing didn't refund/credit any of it.
