Room was clean. The air conditioner has no cover. I don't know if it works , i did not bother to check because the temp. inside the room was ok. The lady at the desk at check in was nice. At check out i was not given a receipt even when i asked for it. I was told it will be e mailed to me. I haven't received it yet. Breakfast was ok.

The room was ABSOLUTELY disgusting. From the moment that we opened the door, our skin began to crawl. The room was terribly outdated. The headboard was made of vinyl and the vinyl was worn away in a 2 foot circle from where previous guests had rested their heads. We found 1/4 inch of dust buildup on the baseboards. We were so disgusted that we went to our car and immediately searched online for another nearby hotel. We refused to spend our reserved 2 nights in this hotel.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel itself needs a remodel. The bathroom counters are stained, the curtains and carpet are ancient and you can tell that the hotel at one point allowed smoking in what are now non-smoking rooms. I put some of my clothes in the drawers and noticed a faint smell when I wore them. The rooms have a kind of musty smell.

Room smelled and was dirty. At check in time we had to wait around for the manager to get in. No one there could assist us. The halls were dark and dirty, tv remote did not work, windows were dirty and filled with cobwebs. Will not ever stay here again!!

This was a fine hotel. Close enough for walking to everything in town we wanted to see. We didn't eat the continental breakfast...too many other restaurants we wanted to check out instead. We came here during Oktoberfest. A very nice stay.

I always enjoy leaving an honest review. The Baymont in Helen was a fun stay for me and my family. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a balcony. The view was great from the balcony and the beds were really comfortable.

We had a king suite, advertised with a fireplace, balcony, jetted tub. The fireplace did not work, we were informed that is a "december" thing, and would not work until then. Too bad we arrived in October. The balcony was pretty good, faced the park. The jetted tub was ok. A little small, but 2 plump adults can fit alright. The jets are medium force, at best. The bed however was pretty comfortable. The pillows were a little better than the stndard pancake style. The breakfast consists of muffins, cereal, pastries, and pre- made bacon egg cheese biscuits. So, nothing healthy. If that's what you're looking for. Overall, for the price we paid, and even though the fireplace didn't work, I feel like this is a pretty good place to stay if you want a large suite, comfortable bed, and 4-5 minute walk to the Festhalle.

Overall for the location and price not bad. The original room we were in had an odor, bad enough for us to call and request to be moved. They were very accommodating and got us in a new room immediately. Would stay there again.

It’s okay if your bringing your pet with you, I tried to reserve a suite and because I had a dog they denied me so they gave me a room with a king size bed that the mattress needed to be change 10yrs ago so sleeping was not comfortable, and the room smelled like mildew. Carry a plug in to fight the room smell. So paying over $100 a night is not worth but since I had a pet and it was October Fest it was kind of hard to find something else, so overall when they say breakfast is server between 7 and 9 it’s only a danish or a muffing, cereal and some coffee, so if you can afford something more than $100 a night and are traveling without a pet stay away and find something else there is plenty of places in Heaven GA to stay and enjoy the city especially there German food.

The first room we were given was not clean (beds not made from last guest, trash on the floor, etc.) and the second room had trash left from the cleaning crew. The food was all prepackaged, including the waffles and the coffee was never brewed to ensure all guests could get it when they wanted coffee.

The wall inside the room was dirty with something splashed on it. The entire room had a strong mildew smell. The faucet in the sink splashed water forward and leaked onto the counter when open. Overall the hotel needs maintenance.
