I never was able to check in. The owner/manager was screaming and cursing in the lobby at a guest they would not let check in who was NOT responding in kind with bad behavior. They were on the phone with the prospective guests work supervisor who was also quite angry—but the owner/mgr was much worse. I was trying to check in and could not even hear the front desk clerk question. I said loudly, “I am sorry—I can’t even hear you because your manager is yelling so loud, it’s awful.” He quieted, told the gentleman to leave and hung up the phone. I was asked for ID I showed my passport. The owner/mgr. came behind the reception. The clerk asked me for an ID with an address. I said I booked through Expedia and that usually use my passport as ID. The owner jumped in and said you are paying here. I said I understand, but usually passport is okay. As I extended my license—he said you are terrible. I said no, actually you have been terrible since I walked in here. He said you ate ugly. You need to go look in the mirror to see what I see. I just looked at him and shook my head and chuckled-astounded. He said you get out—you’re not staying here. I said-are you serious. He said yes. I said that’s fine. It’s certainly best. I looked at the two front desk clerks who mutely looked with fixed glazes straight ahead. Not shocked—just stoney. This was NOT new behavior I left. And now have to ask for a refund as my credit card shows one night charge pending. Premises shouldn’t be on Expedia.
