When we arrived they said we were on the third floor… here are the key. Sorry but the elevator is broken. We are in our 80’s so we asked about a room on the first floor. But it would be considerably more money since it was a queen suite. The bathroom hinges on the inside of the bathroom were rusty. The tiles were broken. The floor was dirty. In the main suite room the sofa was completely showing the inside that was supposed to pull out. My husband finally got them to give us the original rate. On the morning we checked out we asked for towels at 7:30 but they were all in the dryer so no towels until 9:00. We had appointments at 9:00 so couldn’t shower. This was totally unacceptable and a disgrace. Tonight we are in the Choice hotel in Connellsville and it is spotless. It gets a 10 but the one in Harrisburg gets a 1.

The night I checked in, my room had hot water. The next morning, it was lukewarm at best, even after letting it run for 5+ minutes.

Love the art theme of the room with a tablet to draw on not just a little mini pad real art on the walls cleverly designed doors into the bathroom. I wanted to move in not just rent the room, pleasant color palette. Walking distance to shopping, coffee shops, churches, parks. Unique lobby and Lovely breakfast. We enjoyed a little keyboard fun on the in tune piano at the entrance.

The staff seemed helpful but then we realized they weren’t really listening to our requests/concerns. The rooms are nice and big and were clean over all but the shower floor in our room was noticeably dirty under the seat . When we told them about this, they still did not clean it. We requested room service and told them what we wanted done and the only thing they did was give us fresh towels and take the old. We asked for the beds to be remade. I stripped the beds and left the bedding on the floor and he just left them there and did not remake the beds. We were told there is only 1 housekeeper. This poor guy! Unacceptable! The pool: the bottom and sides are peeling and debris is floating around the pool. They told me that this was resolved because the pool cleaner came the next day but that won’t resolve the fact that the pool is peeling. More debris is going to surface. There are signs posted for customer laundry, but it leads to an obvious employee laundry/work room. I did not look further into this, so maybe there is customer laundry, but it didn’t seem like it. The doors on the bathrooms in the lobby did not properly close. The Men’s room is usable. The door would not close all the way even if forced. We left 2 days early. We told the staff that we were leaving and they never checked us out. When I called after that, many excuses were made. They didn’t seem to care at all about our concerns and then hung up the phone without a word. Teach your staff customer service!
