It was a pleasure

It’s a beautiful hotel within walking distance to Hoàn Kiếm Lake. Lots of food, shopping and travel agencies right outside of the hotel where one can go to book trips, excursions and exchange money. The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop bar and pool. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. It made our stay pleasurable. Our rooms were very clean and we were up on the 8th floor away from the noise. The rooms were lovely, however, I’d suggest that the hotel improve the lighting in the bathroom and provide lighter bed covers. The current thick down comforter is too warm and not comfortable for sleeping.

Boutique perfection in the Old Quarter

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the Old Quarter. Great location, wonderful hospitality and lovely and comfortable rooms. The staff are all superb - special mention to Anh who checked in on us throughout our stay and was ready with local recommendations, and Tiana who arranged a thoughtful anniversary gift and a lovely note to welcome us back on our second visit. Would highly recommend the Meritel to those seeking a boutique oasis in the heart of Hanoi’s action. We will also be sure to return when next in Hanoi.

We had a great stay at the Meritel Hotel in Hanoi. The hotel was spotlessly clean with stylish interiors and a lovely atmosphere. All the staff were fantastic, but a special mention goes to Alex and Linh who were especially helpful throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable with a powerful shower and modern design. We also used the in-house spa which was amazing, definitely worth a visit. Breakfast each morning had a great selection and top-notch service. The hotel restaurant is also a great option if you're looking to have lunch or dinner, with delicious food and excellent service.

Excellent hotel, the staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. The hotel is really very nicely appointed and the rooms are high quality and very clean. The rooftop pool is great, only comment is that the drinks are really quite expensive up there in comparison to other places so we spent more time outside the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel though, the staff make the experience.

Amazing! Staff was always available and willing to assist. They even ordered us a Grab to and from dinner. I communicated with Katy through WhatsApp and she arranged our transfer back to the hotel while we were out. Everyone we encountered was great! The facilities were excellent. They even had happy hour on the rooftop. Walkable to train street, Hoan Kiem lake and shops/restaurants. I highly recommend the Meritel for your next stay in Hanoi!

So much to do around the hotel with lots of eateries and shopping. The restaurant at the Meritel, May Tre Dan was very nice. The food was very good.

A "mini" 5-Star hotel in Hanoi Old Town

I got a lot of attention from the moment I checked in. Ms. Anh walked with us to the room to make sure that we liked it or she was going to give us another room to our liking. Then, she followed up with texts to make sure that we are happy and she was there to make our stay beyond our expectation. She also arranged a tour and a taxi to the airport for us. We liked the room and the service was just like a five star hotel for the 2 days we were there. At the restaurant Ms. Chi remembered every detail of my order from the night before and went out of her way to give the kind of food that I was demanding!
