Nice basic beachfront hotel

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool however not near enough pool chairs. Pizza was good! Overly priced for what it was but nice enough. Absolutely nothing comes with your stay (beach chairs, breakfast, parking, etc all extra and pricey) Directly on a nice beach with beach view from pool, convenient location in orange beach.

We had a great time on a last minute get away. The property is modern, amazing views, and most importantly (to me) clean! The staff was terrific, very professional in a laid back beach way.

Xbox controllers broken

ALL of the staff was amazing, the hotel was super clean. We had an absolute blast and would definitely stay here again if in this area. Only thing was the controllers to the Xbox did not work. My kiddos were super excited to play so we went back up to see about replacing the batteries and it still did not work.!

It was a holiday weekend, and I had three children with me, but I expected more for my money. While the hotel was clean and my room was also tidy, it wasn't adequately stocked. We didn't have enough towels, and the shampoo in the shower was empty upon our arrival. The front desk informed me that I could come down to get more towels, which was not ideal. On the second day, housekeeping came to our room and removed the trash and dirty towels but failed to leave any clean towels or put trash bags in the bins. I had to call the front desk again for assistance. Additionally, meals are no longer included with your stay, but this information is provided during the booking process. The food selections are decent for the price, though I had to remind the omelet chef about my order a couple of times. Please be aware that there is a daily parking fee. In total, I spent about $6,000 for three nights at a three-star hotel, and I'm not sure it was worth it.

Absolutely perfect! Hotel not too big or overly crowded, 7 floors only. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms very spacious. Breakfast buffet, although you pay $14.99 pp, was excellent. Covered parking, you do pay $11.00 per night for, but worth it. My last stay at the Phoenix did not have covered parking. We got caught in that big hail storm, not one car went undamaged. Beach area not over crowded and we went last week of June. Only complaint, pool could be larger.

The pictures had me convinced, but I was even more impressed when I arrived. You definitely get a sense of luxury, cleanliness, friendliness. The staff was all super nice and helpful. The food was top notch, from the breakfast to the homemade pizza. The bar has a great selection with delicious drinks and food to chose from. The rooms were very clean and the views were amazing. This has been the most comfortable hotel we've ever stayed in. Also being directly on the beach was extremely convenient. Will definitely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Orange Beach!
