The property seems to be renovated within the last decade or so but it is not well maintained. The rooms get very moist with condensation if you don’t leave the humidifier and air conditioner on. The laminated floors become extremely slippery. The hotel needs better maintenance altogether. There are very limited food options, however, the food was pretty good - well seasoned. The drinks were pretty good also which help increase the experience. The staff were friendly and professional. I enjoyed the fact that they had just the right amount of each. There was an extremely wretched smell like boiled eggs due to the seaweed washing up on the beach. Very unpleasant. The ice machine was broken and seemed very unclean. The hotel is very basic, it was booked last minute and it sufficed for that. I wouldn’t choose this as a first or second option if I had the chance to plan this vacay again. I would come back, but only if upgrades were made. There was very limited activity on the resort and although they tried, it was mediocre at best. The best part of the resort is the limited food selection and drinks.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Waves. The staff was truly helpful and amazing. The room was BEYOND perfect. AMA was amazing, I went twice! I cannot wait to go back

Sand castle was a small but beautiful resort. We got told many of times they have the best beach on the island and from what we seen I believe it. Nice sandy beach with chairs, umbrellas, chair covers and towels. They had everything we needed. It was close to things and not hard to navigate. The beds awe the beds were amazingly comfortable. The rooms were clean and nice. We stated in a King suite with a patio and it felt so peaceful until the morning when traffic would start up. However if you just want to relax on the beach don't expect fast service it was hit and miss. One lady was amazing and the other was non existant almost probaly because they automatically add 20% gratuity onto your bill. Just take your cooler that's provided and bring your own drinks. The food and drink prices were fairly expensive as well. Overall I would stay again but would probaly eat elsewhere.

Nice stay for business Awesome rum punch

The property is clean, safe, and the owner is attentive and responds quickly. We had peaceful nights throughout. The only thing I would recommend is to get dinner and drinks before you go in for the evening because there is no restaurant or bar on property. Nothing is super close so plan accordingly. We asked for a microwave and they brought us one right away which was helpful. I would recommend to stay
