"Excellent value, space, close to beach"
Great view, excellent value close to the beach. Had no trouble, but maybe a little too secluded. Did not see the presence of any security in case of a problem. Was difficult to find anyone after hours.

"The Best Place For Total Relaxation"
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The staff (especially Scott the bartender) made our stay exceptional. Everyone was friendly, accommodating and professional. The food, entertainment and activities were abundant. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who needs a bit of Paradise in their life. Simply a slice of heaven.

"Great Place at a great price!"
Stayed here for our (delayed) honeymoon 7 days. Everything looked really well cared for and owner was always around. The help was very friendly and helpful. We could be alone in our little hut (very clean and comfortable) or hang out at the pool or the gorgeous beach. We saw geckos, huge emerald green hummingbirds, non-stop butterflies, sea turtles, deer and gorgeous greenery that one might very well miss at a large expensive resort. Loved the pool! It was large and right on the beach for a fabulous view of the ocean. Angie served breakfast with her beautiful smile right at the beach in restaurant or on the sand. The food was just wonderful! Fresh, inspired island fusion. We ate there almost everyday and everything on the menu was a joy! Chenay offers a 4 star experience at the very least for a 3 star price. We will definitely come back here.

"Excellent for the price"
We were there for my wife's birthday. We had a very nice oceanfront room. Anything we asked for was immediately addressed. It is not the Buccaneer, but neither are the prices. I think the government spends more money promoting tourism in St. John and St. Thomas than they do in St. Croix. Frederiksted, although it has excellent restaurants and a pleasant beach, is a ghost town when the cruise ships aren't there. Our favorite meal was at the Savant in Christainsted. Most restaurants except for The Terrace have limited seating so reservations are a good idea. We also ate at the Beach Side Café, Blue Moon, Rum Runners and the Bombay Club. All meals were delicious. We were never harassed anywhere we went in town and everyone was friendly and helpful. 2017 will be their big celebration.

"Huge rooms... clean and neat."
We took our two boys (16 and 23) on a Christmas dive vacation. The hotel staff did an excellent job making sure the rooms were set up according to plan, helping with taxis, car rental, etc. Great place with extremely friendly people. Our rooms overlooked the ocean and were close to the more casual restaurant / bar.... which has really good food. The hotel itself was the perfect location for us. We didn't want to be in the middle of town. We rented a jeep for the 10 minute ride to the dive boat in the morning (rental car is highly recommended... the island has a lot to see in different locations....nothing's far, but you need a car). We dove with St. Croix Ultimate Blue Water Adventures.... great shop... highly recommended. We also took a day to go to beach bar hopping.... lots O fun. All in all, it was a great trip. We plan on going to St. Croix again soon.... and will definitely stay at the Tamarind Reef.

"Good basic hotel that is not too expensive"
If you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you. This is a simple clean hotel, with a nice coffee house for breakfast literally right out the front door. There is a very secluded beach in walking distance (less than 2km). It is right in the middle of downtown Christianstead and has a ton of places to eat and is very close to the boardwalk.

Christiansted is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Christiansted, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Christiansted hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
