"Soothing, scenic, surf, sun... and rum!"
Exceptional. Rosalie and the entire staff went out of their way to make our week the quiet, pleasant 30th anniversary celebration we were looking for. The layout of the resort allows for beach/pool fun to take place away from most of the rooms. So we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our patio drinking our morning coffee and watching the sun rise over Buck Island and listening to the gentle surf in the evenings with practically no noise pollution! Although the facility is dated it is clean and has a bit of an old fashioned charming character. Restaurant serves tasty food and drinks. Snorkeling along the reef right outside our room was a delightful perk. And, did I mention Rosalie? WHAT A GEM! The epitome of a gracious hostess. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return!

The Palms at Pelican Cove

4126 La Grande Princess, Christiansted - Map
The hotel is very pleasant, as the staff are also. The food is delicious and prices are very reasonable. The beach is a little rocky in some spots but oh so tranquil with beauty, you feel the peace and can let this stressful world pass you by. You will see why it's named pelican palms. It is a wonderful get a way.

"Centrally located and renovated"
It has been a while since I stayed at the Caravelle and the room renovations are very welcome. The hotel does not have sprawling spaces or a beach? But it's fine as a base for either tourism or business on St. Croix.

"Nice hotel, close to everything."
I was not in a comfortable room the first night when I arrived after 10:00 P.M. and the television was not even working; however, upon inquiry the next day, I was moved to a suite with a view. All staff members were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive to my husband and me. The continental breakfast every morning proved to be desirable. The brief ferry ride to the beach at Hotel at the Cay proved to be a rewarding treat and walking down a flight of steps led to storefront access. I look forward to returning next month and staying in the 'loft' with my family.

Chenay Bay Beach Resort

5000 Estate Chenay Bay Rt. 82, Christiansted - Map
"Wonderful Experience"
We stayed in a quaint little cottage overlooking the pool and beach. We had a full kitchen with stove, living room, nice bathroom, and King- sized bed. The bathroom was beautifully tiled and we were not expecting such a modern feel to the cabin, so that was a nice surprise. The porch had two rocking chairs and a little table. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the porch and jogging on the path nearby each morning to start our day. The restaurant had been hit by lightening the week before we arrived, but it really did not make a big difference with our comfort or enjoyment. We stopped at the grocery store on our way to Chenay Bay on the first day, and then we ate at an upscale restaurant called The Savant. The food was impeccable and the wait staff friendly. We used a taxi service called Prince of Peace, and Jaylen made sure we were taken care of. He is very proud of St. Croix and was very helpful with where to go and the best places to eat, shop etc. We loved the tranquil surroundings of Chenay Bay and will visit again but bring our friends next time. : )

King Christian Hotel

59 King's Wharf, Christiansted - Map
"Friendly hotel with great views"
A very friendly hotel, very close to the wharf restaurants and to the town. The rooms are basic, but clean, and there is an excellent breakfast cafe next door. There were two big rainstorms during my stay: the first caused loss of electricity and wifi for several hours; the second, loss of water, electricity and wifi. This was not just affecting the hotel, but rather the whole strip.

Christiansted is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Christiansted, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Christiansted hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
