"Still under hurricane conditions"
Definitely disappointed and niot worth $400/night when the hotel is still under hurricane conditions. Room was musty, linen on beds were damp and obviously not fully dried before placing them on the bed. And even after requesting new linen - the linen was replaced with another set of damp sheets comforters, etc. There was a dead cockroach and barely any hot water. Good news is the grounds were beautiful, the staff was EXCELLENT and the food was great!

"Home away from Home"
This hotel was a diamond in the rough. The location was right there on the boardwalk so walking to different activities, shops, and restaurants was very short and convenient. The hotel staff was all very friendly and helpful. One thing that we wished was different was the pool being opened. If we get another chance to visit St. Croix, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Amazing experience, both the hotel and staff"
Our stay at the Palms at Pelican Cove was wonderful. The room's view was the very best, looking out at both sides of the lovely cove/bay, we woke most mornings to watch the sunrise over Buck Island--gorgeous! The room was nice and spacious, too, with great Internet service, a double sink bathroom and a rocky volcanic wall I the shower that was pretty (and a tiled bench that allowed for placement of all our shower toiletries), along with the balcony overlooking Pelican Cove Beach on both sides. We enjoyed drinks at the bar, Caribbean Night entertainment and the best mahi mahi I have had in a long time as one of the dishes on the buffet, couples' massage on the beach, beachcombing, and some very good meals from the hotel kitchen (they have more casual dining options around the pool as well as seated dining at the restaurant both in and outdoors). It was also nice to be able to order our food at the bar, with menus that offered daily specials and snack items, as well as more robust meals. Staff are so attentive, with messages relayed, special things we'd asked about answered, and some smiles and laughs as we watched the eclipse with some of the staff who were working on the property the day it occurred, via our eclipse-safe sunglasses. We felt safe, cared for, and our happiness on the holiday was something the hotel management and staff really wanted to ensure. Get Maurice to drive you, plus ask for a night snorkel from hotel owners-a real highlight for us!

"If you like to listen to the sea..."
We were blown away by the view from our room! The sea in all of it's expansive glory was right there! The bed was comfortable and the room spacious and attractive. The staff was super friendly when they saw us but gave ample privacy overall. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. Thank you Chef Tully and our lovely waitress (originally from Buffalo - I'm sorry I don't remember your name) so much that it was hard to keep our commitment to trying a new place every night. It was also incredibly cool that we could walk down the road for more coffee at a breakfast truck and a swim in the mornings and we could walk to the super friendly beach bar, Off The Wall, for music, beer and pizza. Oh and Laura ( the owner) hooked us up with a great massage therapist (Julie) right away so we could really take advantage of our downtime.

Visit was nice, arranged transportation was always on time. Breakfast was always good. Lunch buffet was good, with alternative menu option. Dinner for us was on time when we ate indoors(6 pm), was late generally when we at dinner outside, also very windy at times, so food cooked quickly. Staff was always professional and eager to assist, staff made us feel at home. Rooms were clean, and cleaning staff did a good job. Bathrooms needs ventilation, stayed hot, no way to get fresh air into bath. Good visit wecwill return.

Kingshill is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Kingshill, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Kingshill hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
