This Inn has 2 stories: 1) The Eye Opener - The property is in really poor condition, it is excessively worn. Exterior is poor, exterior stairs with missing stone treads, basic wood used instead, no elevator to 2nd floor. State of rooms: Let's put it this way, I really didn't want to look too hard. Black bed sheets which was concerning, one light for the entire bedroom.....just really run down property, at least they appear to use bed bug protection on the beds. Bathroom was grimy, hair dryer exists but does not work.....Ugghhh could not wait to leave. 2) The better aspect - Their employees. I arrived late at night, they asked me to go to the room and inspect before taking the room (flashing warning signs in my head), it was furniture market and there were not a lot of options. I was concerned with the area, but the kind lady at check in reassured me it was safe, she and the housekeeper were exceptionally warm and kind. The hotel delivered fresh towels to the room each day. No housekeeping for daily cleaning. I can accept the state of the property but if they offered good quality white bed linens and cleaned the rooms daily it might have been more bearable. Despite the warm, kind and welcoming hotel staff, I would never stay at this property or in this area.
