I've stayed at the Nautical Mile many times! The rooms are perfect for a get-away! The pool is always ready to cool off in and the people, both working at the Nautical Mile and guests are very friendly.

Our stay at the Waldo Emerson was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, Amelia welcomed us with warm hospitality, and every detail of this charming property made us feel right at home. The accommodations were comfortable and full of character, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. Each morning, we looked forward to a delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared breakfast that was the perfect start to our day. What truly made our experience special were the wonderful sightseeing and dinner recommendations. Amelia and Ron are phenomenal hosts who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a memorable stay. Their genuine warmth, local knowledge, and attention to detail made our visit to Kennebunkport even more enjoyable. The Waldo Emerson is an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a charming bed and breakfast in Kennebunkport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking the perfect combination of comfort, charm, exceptional hospitality, and relaxation! **A truly wonderful experience from start to finish!**

Avoid room 125. Staff moved our bags into it straight from lobby instead of holding for us to finish checking in at check in time. ….lobby noise, ridiculous bar noise till late, street noise, elevator next door in one wall, all toilets drawing down the other side of room in other wall. Called valet as per instructions 20mins before we wanted to leave and never heard from them—-took elevator down and she was on her phone. This was at 3:45 AM we had to leave for a 6AM flight. She said “oh you messaged me?”….yeah….we did. Car did not smell great after she pulled it around either idk what that’s about. Also sink is weirdly cracked in 125. Fire pit and bar were nice tho. Still an overall disappointing experience for the money and location. Maybe we got a bad room—-but I did tell them we were leaving super early to catch 6AM flight. No sleep for the $$.

Very nice kitchen, room is spacious and very clean!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice, while still maintaining an old charm. The location was great.
