We thought Tim, the owner was great! All contact with staff was efficient and helpful. There is a large community space that we enjoyed. The breakfast was not what we loved. The private space was large and the separate tub and shower with double sinks was great. The room was bright. It is a bit of a work in progress but in the end it worked very well.

Beautiful property modern clean rooms

thin walls, had some noisy neighbours (some arguing, some with crying / screaming kids). noticed garbage, recycling and towels just thrown into hallways and left over night for staff to clean up next day; so that needs improving. they had some activities (ie corn hole) but limited to certain day of the week - we were denied when we asked to set it up since it was not that day. gym was ok but some staff members use it too, and the water bottle in it was always empty (never re-filled). lots of micro damage in rooms, and old carpets so our room didn't smell fresh when we arrived. our balcony was a bity dirty too. no ice machines; had to go to the front desk to get a bag of ice. hot tub and pool was well maintained. friendly staff (most of them), nice location. we never ate at the restaurant so we don't know the quality of food. great big parking spots available; had both garage and outside parking available. hot water pressure not so great. need more hangers in the room. max rating I'd give this is a 3 star hotel.

There was mold in the caulking around the shower. Very expensive for such an old motel.

Very clean and comfortable room. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again while in the area, despite the fact that our room was on the 3rd floor and we got stuck in the elevator for 10 min. before it started moving again. We had sounded the alarm but apparently couldn’t be heard. The front desk staff indicated that they had the elevator fixed 1 min. after hearing the alarm, but their alarm must not have gone off the 9 minutes before when we were trying to get attention. We felt very reassured that it was just an unfortunate rare occurrence and the staff were very concerned about it. The hotel seems very well maintained and it was likely an aberration. The other thing is, we would have liked a place to re-freeze our cooler freezies…there is no freezer in the room fridge and no room in the hotel freezer when we asked at the front desk. Otherwise, we were very happy and would have given our top review in all areas.
