"Nice hotel"
It appeared that we were the only guests in the hotel (travelling in low season) but the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The front desk staff arranged a dinner reservation for us at a nearby restaurant (Boomerang) that provided us with one of the most enjoyable experiences of the trip so far.

"Fantastic hotel in Mazara del Vallo"
We had the most amazing time at this hotel thanks to its owner who understood our particular needs and went the extra mile to accommodate us. Having the owner of the hotel actually working along the rest of the staff made all the difference, as she made sure that everything was done to make us feel comfortable, relaxed and happy.

"Good"
Nice hotel. Rooms could use a little renovations. Elevators are really slow... Really... Breakfast buffet wasn't great and the staff there weren't so nice. We stayed for 2 nights. The first diner "a la carte" was amazing. We were the only ones there and they treated us really well even though it was late 10pm. Buffet was closed. The second night we went back to the same restaurant and were very disappointed. Not sure if they had change the chef but the food was ok not amazing and service was so so. There was a big wedding that night so maybe they laid back on the restaurant to spend more effort on the wedding. The pool is nice but you have to buy a swimming hat or else you can't go in.... (Which they sell at the pool area). The beach they send you to ( delphino hotel beach) about 15 min. Away is not great. We wanted to be in marsala to visit the Florio wine factory which we did and enjoyed it. Hotel was ok for the price we paid. Location was also ok about 20 minutes from downtown marsala.

"Nice enough hotel- not that close to the beach."
A remote hotel in the middle of nowhere but quite pretty. The hotel is surrounded by farm area and vineyards. The pool there is very nice. The food is quite good too. Overall the staff is very good. Although when checking out of the hotel the fellow checking us out was really rude. He was in an obvious bad mood and was curt and short towards us. We were actually taken back by his rudeness.

"Olive farm B&B near the sea and Greek ruins"
Enjoyed our relaxed stay at this family-run, comfortable inn midst olive groves. Helpful, pleasant hosts. Rooms were simple and clean; grounds were lovely. Spent 3 nights there and ate 3 dinners in-house. Enjoyed meeting chef, who does all regional cooking. Try ordering single meal for 2 for dinner; portions are large and we never needed two servings. Pool was closed in October.

"Relaxing hotel in Sicilian countryside"
Visited the hotel at the end of October so it was the end of the season. The atmosphere was relaxed and peasant and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Definitely a recommend as a base for exploring the area or just to relax by the pool.

"Decent hotel right off the beach, needs some TLC"
The location is good, right across from the beach. The rooms were clean, but needed some updating. The dresser was musty, furniture seemed cheap and somewhat rickety, and the A/C unit sub-par. The breakfast selection could have been better. There was no fresh fruit or cereal.......basically donuts/pastries, cheese, yogurt, lunch meat, fruit juice and a coffee vending machine. The shower was like one of those camping showers that you can add-on to the outside of an RV.........just a curtain....no walls. I spend very little time in the room, so it didn't ruin my trip. The layout of the hotel is nice, with an upstairs terrace, and balconies for each room. Just needs some updating!

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
