Novotel Lyon Gerland Musée des Confluences
This hotel is close to the tram stop which was very convenient. The hotel looks newer and that is reflected in the rooms. The room was large for three people. Everything looked clean. Breakfast was extensive! There was coconut yogurt and almond milk for those that don't eat dairy.

ACE Hôtel Lyon Vénissieux
our room didn’t have fridge, phone, coffeemaker, safe, microwave, cups, water or even a box of tissue, absolutely nothing! Only one single ugly picture and a tiny TV set were hung on the walls. I have never seen such an empty and dirty hotel room in my entire life, even in the third world!

This hotel is in a great location for tourist attractions. Everything was a short ride on the trams and the nearest stop is only a few minutes walk (Confluences museum stop). everything absolutely perfect ,, only improve coffe options in the “bar” . Asked 2 single espresso macchiatos - lady asked me to do it by myself in the breakfast automatic coffe machine and at the end she asked me to pay 8,40€ !!!!! joke
