Great staff, especially housekeeping. Nice boardwalk a few steps from hotel. **Important**: this is a "pet friendly" hotel. Wasn't an issue during the week, but weekend the place was full of dogs. Late evening barking on my floor not pleasant. Keep in mind: In the room you're given, a dog may have laid on the bed, couch, chair, etc. Even with sheets changed between guest stays, might be residue of dog presence left (stains? smell? something unpleasant? etc.). I was told this is the only pet friendly hotel in Sault Ste Marie, so will get all pets staying in a hotel in that city. I actually have a dog, so I'm not being negative ... just stating the facts.
