Very disappointed. Soap dispenser was empty. Bathroom was small and in need of update. Bed was not made properly, sheets crinkled. Paid too much money for this accommodation. booked 3 rooms, they were all the same complaints in each room. In room 1107. Sliding door would not lock. We came to the Vibe to see if this is suitable accommodation for our future business clients. This was well below expectations. The photos on the internet were not the rooms we stayed in.

The hotel is generally nice and clean for a renovated and revamped hotel. Loved the Mediterranean colours and minimalist designs. Staff were generally friendly. Main improvement areas would be that the service is quite slow and turnover for housekeeping was quite slow and very loud (staff closet doors were shut loudly all day every day which is unsettling for resting guests). The food at the hotel isn't quite at the best quality, particularly breakfast. More variety and more in-house made food would be great for the breakfast buffet. Dinner at the Driftwood Social on our first night was disappointing as the food came out very cold and was very salty. Surfers Pavilion next to the hotel however, was an excellent experience. Great food, great music and a great vibe which is what we had hoped and expected from the Vibe Hotel. Overall, still a nice hotel close to the shops, river and the beach.

Toilet exhaust fan is blocked with thick layer of dust, the view is great from balcony window, however the noise travels from the pool as well as the commercial boats and ferries constantly passing by, its very noisy even though we stayed at 9th floor. The hotel door isnt sound proofed so every single time neighbours come back we can hear it, specially for a party city like gold coast its annoying. Other than that, hotel is generally very clean, lifts are super fast, friendly staff, easy access to main touristy places within the surfers paradise area.

The pool terrace is nice but the room was incredibly noisy. I booked this hotel because it seemed to include the parking fee but no, there is a $30 overnight parking fee that's payable when you check in. You have to fill out a parking form online which didn't work anyway. The reception then simply did it for me in about 5 seconds which makes me wonder why they asked me to do it in the first place.

The hotel is very good very clean. People are nice, facilities are clean and tidy. But last night at midnight, show was running out of hot water. That's only the bad thing. Besides this everything is good.
