Much better than before

This location has improved a lot since the last time I was here. And the room was very clean nicely decorated, centrally located, the staff was really nice. The heater wasn’t working great. But definitely a huge improvement over the last time I was here the last time I was here was absolutely a disaster under construction and horrible. This was March / April 2025 So I’m glad to see that things are looking up. It would be great if you had like a snack Vending Machine on the premises though

Air condition was turned off and was not bad as we were only in motel at night and it was cooler. Staff very friendly and accomidating. Breakfast was awesome. Was disappointed pool was closed. Overall for what we needed it was perfect and we will be back.Thank you!

I requested a balcony view, but we received a parking lot view instead. I didn’t request a room change because the main area was in various stages of disrepair, including the pool and hot tub not being usable. It appears that this was once a great place to stay, but unfortunately it has not been taken care of or updated in a long time. The elevators have a strong burnt motor oil smell and other areas of the hotel smelt bad as well including the main atrium. The room itself was subpar with the toilet handle not attached properly and the shower curtain rod mount busted at a 45° angle down so that the curtain wouldn’t shut all the way. There were a few more items under noticeable stages of disrepair, but overall I just needed a place to sleep and get ready and that’s what I got.

This place was a great place to stay in its prime. It desperately needs a remodel. My room didn’t have an air conditioner, it just had some kind of air pump that didn’t get below like 73. The bed was ok. Mostly just springs. The pillows were too flat and didn’t stay fluffed up. The pool was cloudy, but that didn’t stop lots of people playing in it. Breakfast was ok for a free breakfast.

A Little Shaky at First

There was a lot of confusion on checking in. I had reserved 2 rooms for 1 night using Hotels. When I arrived I learned that one of my rooms had been given to someone else with my same first name but a different last name. Plus my card had been temporarily charged for this strangers room (for 2 nights). The night clerk (Aryana) discovered this mix up, and did go above and beyond to get this corrected. Where I got to my room it was very hot, and the controls for the AC did not work. So I opened the window to let some fresh air in and discovered there was not a screen for the window, so leaving the window open would not be an option. I was going to call Aryana, but discovered the hotel phones did not work. Aryana did find us a different room and also provided us with a box fan. The hotel manager did end up comping my room, and the billing issues were resolved to my satisfaction.

luxurious

Feels luxury, but it's very budget friendly. We got a room with a balcony and loved just relaxing and enjoying the view. Breakfast was great, the front desk ladies were great. I was impressed by how fancy everything felt: their waffle maker made waffles with the Red Lion logo, how cool! There was a pool, looked nice. I hope to be back and spend a few days just relaxing at this nice place.

Took total loss $$ for this room. Left didn't stay

DO NOT STAY HERE!  ROOM IS OLD, DIRTY & IN NEED OF MANY REPAIRS. PHOTOS ARE DECEIVING.  FLOP HOUSE DUMP IN BAD NEIGHBORHOOD. We checked in.  Front entrance & pool area looked nice.  Had reserved ground floor none available, she put us on the top 3rd floor.  Back entrance.  1 old rickety elevator. Room was like entering a flop house on tv.  Filthy Dirty couch didn't even have a bar of soap in the bathroom.  Everything is dirty.  We went down & said we didn't want to stay here.  She said the room is Not Refundable.  In checking us out she somehow charged us an additional $50.  Gave her the room key & left and went & stayed at another hotel.  Does not belong on hotel.com

Very dated. Not the room I thought I reserved. It was probably an amazing hotel in 1976 but it’s 49 years old and showing it’s age.
