The same thing I say with almost every hotel these days. Please don't claim to be Wyndham Green or whatever brand of sustainable you're claiming and then give me a paper cup wrapped in plastic for my coffee machine. Please don't convert all of your shampoo to dispensers on the wall and then still give me a plastic cup to drink out of next to my ice bucket, or more absurdly, a plastic cup wrapped in more plastic. You're a big hotel (and a nice hotel), please exert your power to do better, we're drowning in plastic we don't need more. Any hotel that will give me a real glass, a real mug to drink out of shoots to the top of my places to stay again. Would you?

They have a problem with seagulls, there are droppings and feathers everywhere. There was a lot of trash outside, I noticed a coffee cup sitting on top of a trash can for 3 days. I reserved a lake front room and the room window was filthy with droppings and feathers. Our room was clean and comfortable, but there is a reason why you stay at a lake front hotel, and this one has dropped the ball on a clean pleasant lakefront experience.

The hotel is showing its age. The price per room was quite expensive for the condition of the hotel and its amenities. It is very well located in walking distance to Geneva downtown, but I did not feel there was value for money.

For the rate of 600$ a night, I would have expected a hotel that is in better shape. Floor with cardboard taped, one elevator functioning only, paint on walls in bad shape, basic and very average customer service. Not to be recommended for future stay. Hampton Inn would have been a better choice.

The 41 Lakefront hotel has a great location, right on Seneca Lake, and the view from the rooms is impressive. There's a nice park along the lakeside and downtown Geneva is a short walk away. The hotel restaurant was good, as was the room. The one drawback was a broken elevator (out of two total) but this was actively being repaired during our stay and no doubt will soon be back in service.

Great hotel on the water. One elevator broken and the working elevator was a bit iffy. Great place to visit the finger lakes Beautiful views of the lake from back patio of the hotel. We had breakfast and drinks at night and watched the beautiful view of the water and the sunrise and sunset. Close to downtown with plenty of restaurants and bars. We drove to the different lakes. Very central.

Corners of shower, outside of windows in room, and under the toilet seat was all gross. Elevator was sketchy. For being right on the Lake and about 40% higher price than a Holiday Inn Express, I expected FAR better quality. Staff was amazing tho, but the general manager needs to enforce better cleaning.

Subpar

The hotel has potential but it’s lacking in a few things. The front desk staff were great! The hotels appearance in the lobby is lacking. The elevators are SCARY! One is under construction and the other makes you feel like it’s your last ride. The hallways were fine but the room it’s self felt dirty and dated. The beds were practically on the floor and the mattresses are terrible full sized boxes. The bather lacked amenities that are basic and included in other chains like Hilton.

Rooms were dated and the furnishings showed wear and abuse. Broken drawers on nightstands. Mattresses were poor and lumpy. Requested room change twice because the AC didn't work or worked too well. The first room we were in got down to 55 degrees and it was set to 68! Would not stay here again.

Hotel needs to focus on the details

Elevator still out for over a week so wait times were longer since we were on top floor. Bed framing was ripped and pieces falling off. Chair arm was filthy and stained so we covered it with bathroom towel and we killed two fuzzy spiders running around in the bathroom. View was beautiful though
