The room was larger and even nicer than the photos. Every person who worked there was very nice and helpful. I was disappointed in the spa. It advertised manicures and pedicures but they don't currently offer them there.

Arriving to check in and parking is quite chaotic. If you don’t want to pay extra for valet, self park is a good 5 min walk. Trying to get to the entrance to unload and check in is wild. Traffic is non stop and a trolley comes by for pick up right in the middle of everything. Fair warning concierge not only want to help you with local attraction tickets but for a timeshare tour. The young men are easy to talk to and very sweet, but it’s the last thing I want to discuss after a 3 hour trip and trying to get luggage up to my room. Maybe it was the time of year we stayed but there was a lot of noise near our room very early in the mornings. The location is ideal if you don’t have a lot planned away from Pigeon Forge. We liked that we could hang out and walk to The Island or other nearby restaurants and shops.

We’ve been staying here since a month after they opened in 2014 and have never had a bad experience! It’s our absolute favorite place to stay! This was our first time in a room with a crappy view but honestly that didn’t even matter to us. So if you want a river view I’d try to stay away from r249 area. We’ve stayed in River ones before and the view was great. The convenience of this hotel on the island makes your stay unforgettable! Highly recommend!

Disliked the idea of charging so much for a room then on top of that had no parking you had to pay if you wanted a decent parking spot then when you check out they charge you xtra and don’t telling you anything about it when you reserve or check in to your room absolutely horrible. They ask to hold a 50 dollar deposit then take it all at check out the crooked place I have ever stayed at.
