Nice comfortable stay. The pool was warm and very relaxing; the hot tub and sauna both worked fine. Although not complimentary, the breakfast at the Summit Restaurant was excellent. Beautiful views of the Mississippi River from the west balcony of the hotel. Very nice! Will stay again.

The first room they gave us had literally TWELVE flies on the small window in the room. So they moved us down a couple rooms. There weren’t any flies on the window when we got in there but we had to kill no less than TEN bugs throughout the short time we were in the room for the two nights we were there. There’s no elevator, so getting your bags to your room is a pain. There’s no housekeeping unless you ask. It’s not the price of Motel6, you’d think they’d reinvest some of the profit into upkeep of the property. Would not recommend and will not be back.

This hotel is in a wonderful location and the veiws are amazing. Everyone at this resort were very polite, from the people at the desk, the maintence man, and the restaurant staff. We had a few minor issues that were easily and quickly resolved during our stay. Please note that this place does not have an elevator, and does have steps to the rooms. I would highly reccommend this hotel to others, but I would suggest taking out a few steps and putting up a ramp for better access, or even an elevator. Thank you for your hospitality during our stay!!

We were lucky enough to get in to stay there during Oktoberfest in Galena. We got two rooms which I am sure were the last two available so they were not that big and did not have a view of the river and had small bathrooms. We had a good time there though. Enjoyed hiking around the trails in the area. Also took a ride on the alpine slide down to the river to ride the boat and rode the chair lift back up. Also played mini golf. Enjoyed the view of the river at breakfast.

The hotel room was updated and clean. The bathroom was old but very clean. The hallway leading to the indoor pool was unacceptable. I understand if they aren't using the rooms down that hall anymore, but the carpetinf was filthy and coming up in spots and the hall needed paint. Luckily, the pool was clean and a nice temperature. The activities on property were very well run and the outside of the property was well kept and decorated. Some updates to the interior would make this an excellent hotel.

This resort could definitely use some updating, carpets in the hallways were old and dingy and furniture was a little beat up, but overall it was a pleasant stay. The view was great and the rides were fun.
