The property was exceptionally clean, the staff was friendly, and the views were beautiful. The location is perfect for exploring the area and planned activities. However, due to limited airflow, lack of AC, and severe deck security issues, this unit wouldn't be our first or second choice for a return visit.Parking is limited, and our unit was on the back side of the building. The deck lacked privacy, had no deck chairs (though there was a small table), and served as a walkway for four other units. With no AC and no operable windows, we had to choose between sleeping in the heat or leaving our doors open, which compromised our security.Additionally, the laundry facilities failed on our last night, and since the office closes at 5 PM, no one was available to help. We had to drive home with soaking wet clothes (though the apologetic staff did offer access to another unit, we had to get on the road). Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed the destination itself.

Really unique, amazing find.

Beaufort House is really an excellent value in an B&B in Asheville. The location is unbeatable, the house if really worth it, the grounds are big enough to give a sense of privacy, and there is private off street parking. The porch is a great place to wait out a rain storm. The Liberty Street Cafe is 2 blocks away and a terrific alternative for any meal. Bed and bedding were very good. Thanks.
