Deposit should be discussed !
I was notified upon check in that I had to come up with $100 deposit and this was NEVER mentioned at any time during booking . All I can do is hope now that it is refunded like they stayed . Robert was very kind and helpful . So was the Hispanic gentleman working . The woman however was not . The room and overall quality was great . The pool was cloudy and had bugs in it . I was sad that the hot tub was filled in they should have let us know this seeing as how I specifically searched for a hotel with a hot tub and they showed to have one . Our license plate was stolen from the parking lot and she refused to let us see camera footage . We called the police and made a report . I probably won’t use this hotel again due to the situation and the deposit thing . I however was grateful to have an American English speaking attendant !

The property was nothing grand.
I requested a close to the door room as my mother has difficulty getting around.
Got a 3rd floor room. She didn’t want me to get it changed as we were too tired at that point. The room was ok but the bathroom door wouldn’t close because it scraped the floor. The hallway smelled like vending machine cologne from the 70’s.
The pillows were small and lumpy. The bath towels were the size for an adolescent rather than an adult. Fortunately, it was a one night stay so I was able to manage. Had the stay been more than one night I would’ve requested better, less used pillows. Otherwise, everything was good.

I chose this location because it was close to family and easy access to food services and stores like Dollar General. I did not read the reviews but because I had stayed here a few years ago. I will not be staying again. The room was very dark, even with every light on. I posted a picture of the window. There are no blackout curtains so there’s always light coming in around the shade. The ice machine was broken and had a sign to ask the front desk when we asked the front desk. We were told that they had no ice but CVS next-door had ice. This is July in Fort Worth and it was 101°. It was a bad time for the ice machine to be out. Another guest told us they got ice from a different front desk person. It seems weird that they had only one ice machine for the entire building. Our toilet had a leak and every morning it was wet around it. The breakfast buffet was good and the beds were comfortable. It had a decent selection of TV channels. I’ve never paid a deposit at a hotel before but this one charged 100$ I will probably never stay in again. There is no coffee maker in the in the rooms, but they did have a microwave and a decent refrigerator. Overall, it was just disappointing. The room was fine. I appreciated the tile floors over dirty carpet. I’ll just try a different hotel in the area next time.
I arrived to check in Only to run into a door that didn't open all the way. It started to open, then stopped at about 12 in and I had to push it open enough for me to get through. Those behind the counter were aware of this. I have no idea how long the store has been broken or how long it'll take for them to fix it. The room was missing the room number placard, thankfully food deliveries found the place fine. The door would either slam shut or not close. When exiting, you have to pull on the handle till you hear the click. Otherwise it could be pushed open when you think it is closed. When I knew what to look for, I saw one other door that's want fully closed. The Wi-Fi is absolutely terrible. Apparently you can pay for premium for streaming video at a whopping 480p. With everything I needed to get done, I could not rely on the hotel supplied Wi-Fi and had to use my own hotspot. I do like La Quinta. They are my go to hotels, but I will not return to this one.

The hotel had a very strong smell of air freshener when first walking in like they were trying to cover sometimes up. The room had a cat urine smell. They do allow pets so that could be it. The shower had black mold on the tile and the shampoo and body wash bottles were missing from the thing on the wall. We were honestly too tired to call the front desk and complain. We quickly slept and got out the next morning.

Our stay was pretty good. There were a few items in the room that were just ok. There was no overhead lighting in the main room. Only 2 bed lights and one corner floor lamp. The bathroom door was too long for the opening and would stick on the bathroom floor and wouldn't shut completely. The mirrored closet door would not stay shut. There were no directions for the tv on how to get to the channel guide and no guide button on the remote. We finally 'figured it out'. Couldn’t find any local channels for news or weather. Although it appeared to have been recently upgraded, there were still some issues with bathroom tile not meeting behind the door and a 'patched' hole in the wall from the door handle. The floor felt sticky maybe from cleaning solution? Something had been spill and not cleaned up, leaving a trail in the hallway to the rooms on the first floor. It was ok but not the nicest LQ property we've stayed at. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Well the only thing I’d say I liked about my stay was the comfy bed. Thus however, the shower towels were small, don’t bother to wake up early for the breakfast it’s not even “continental breakfast” as they mentioned I also have requested for a room not to be below family due to have a little quietness but no even tho I came back down to move me to another but it’s always the same old excuses “that’s the only one we have” I mean list goes on but to keep things short I won’t come back definitely not.
