So disappointed!

First time in that area and as soon as we get there, there were no more that 6 cars in the hotel. Main entrance was blocked. You have to use the side emergency door. There were several holes on the column on the main entrances. I did not eve feel safe to leave my car overnight there so we requested cancelation and the manager was not even there. We were so disappointed to see the contrasts between the real hotel and the outside pictures that we decided to drive back home for 3 hours. I canot believe how this hotel can have over 1000 reviews and state is very good! No way! I did not get my money back. Do not stay there!

This is the first time I’ve ever posted a bad review. My default is to give ppl the benefit of the doubt. This property looked like it was in a 3rd world country. The front door and the awning were closed and looked like a bomb went off. So every other door was unlocked, so travelers could enter: the opposite of secure. Everything was broken and there was an odor. The staff were not friendly or helpful. I didn’t even check in. I didn’t feel safe at the front desk (even with my pistol on my belt), so Expedia took my money, and I had to pay for another room down the road. The staff at the new hotel told me that she had heard about that specific Comfort property. Stay AWAY.

Hotel charges $50 per room depisit upon check in on a fully prepaid rooms through Expedia. It was unexpected charge for me. I had 2 rooms booked so I was hit with a $100. 00 fee . Obviously, this hotel expects damage. Hotel was clean, but definitely has seen a lot of wear and tear. Staff courteous. I would not stay here again, area seems not very safe around hotel. Some derelict people roaming about outside the hotel. Front doors of hotel were broken, so you had to enter through a side door to get into the hotel. A positive was that at least it was a quiet stay for us on the 4th floor and room was clean.

The room itself was excellent: clean and well -appointed, ample clean towels, newly renovated bathroom, nice clean and comfortable bed, and the AC was quiet. Despite this, the arrival was less than pleasant as the front door was not working and sign instructed to use the side entrance so had to walk around and once inside there was no one st the front desk for 10 minutes. The first thing the person said was don't park under the front veranda because "it is about to collapse". Apparently they had a fire, so I will give them a pass on this. The only other negatives were 1) terrible water pressure (really a dribble) and 2) TV not working. Hotels have been really understaffed these days, and I just someone would be checking the rooms before new guests arrive. The fitness center is a couple of treadmills and one machine, and the laundry center was quite small and required coins, with some dirty socks strewn about on the floor. with that said, the room was very nice and felt a little more upscale than other hotels in this price range, so overall, it was an OK experience.

Housekeeping never went to our room even though I went to the front desk one of the days and asked them to send housekeeping and it was 10 am so it wasn’t like they were gone for the day already Also the lady at the front desk was never there, every time I went downstairs and passed by the front desk they had a notice saying they would be back in 5 min
