This is one of the most well thought out places I've ever stayed. It has all the conveniences of a hotel and a hostel... centrally located in the highlands for those passing through and yet also geared for folks who are tromping through the hills. Loved it! Allan, the proprietor, is a terrific host. He's built in kitchens, a lounge, washers and drying rooms. I hope to come again to hike the hills!

Staff was great (owners). We were given a loud room (could hear everyone upstairs and on the side kitchen). Moved to a room upstairs that was more quite (thank you). This would be a good option for those basing out of the area. Nice sized kitchen with individual room totes to place food in. Multiple kitchens. Again great to save money if you are looking for that. If you go through fort Williams stop to get groceries before going to bunkhouse. We decided to walk 10 minutes to a restaurant. We liked the community area. Got to met fellow travelers and exchange stories. Great part of our evening. We watched the owners sit with guests planning their trips. Beds are bunkhouse style and not particularly comfortable but do the job. Really liked the free washer/dryer and heat hanging room for wet clothes. The owners have really tried to make this space welcoming to travelers and it shows! Property is much nicer than Expedia photos look.

Alan was very welcoming and provided useful information on local restaurants, travel tips in the area and around Scotland. My daughters and I felt safe staying at that location. The property was very clean. We had a mini fridge in our room, hair dryer. Bathroom was very modern. There are all amenities on site. Beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Youโ€™ll not get better than this place!!

Corran bunkhouse is outstanding in every way! We are 4 biker boys from Newcastle area and travelling on a short trip - a very wet trip. The service and facilities here are brilliant. Such hospitable hosts and immaculate rooms and lounge. Drying room for all our gear was greatly appreciated. We have stayed before and will definitely be trying to get back.

A great choice near Fort William

The Corran Bunkhouse was one of the most enjoyable hotels I stayed in. They think on everything you might want to have a pleasant stay, and make it happen. I sure be back when I am around next time.

Very, very friendly staff! They had thought of everything, and were so happy to accommodate any requests. Laundry available for free, a list of nearby restauraunts and their menus, shared areas with games. You may run into other guests, or share the breakfast area with them. You can bring your own food and store it in the kitchen space, just be aware that other visitors have access to the shared kitchens. Bedroom was clean

Room was clean and comfortable with a private bath. Communal kitchen and lounge space were clean and easily accessible. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions to nearby food options. Stairs to the room were a bit steep.

Beautiful location, gracious owners, well maintained property. Room was really hot. Turns out there was a little fan in a drawer that might have helped if Iโ€™d found it before the day we left.

I could talk about this place for hours. This was such a great experience! First and foremost the staff/owners are the friendliest folks we had encountered during our trip to Scotland! Our reason for being in the area was to hike and explore and Alan and Halina helped us discover trails we were not aware based on our hiking abilities. The area is so beautiful and they keep the Bunkhouse so clean and beautiful. We were four in our party and we had four twin sized beds in our room. I could talk for ours on how special they made us feel during our stay and the great recommendations for breakfast and dinner choices that were spot on! If we go back to Scotland, we will definitely choose this place again and again.
