This place on the App looks imcredible, ones your stock with the reservation and its not refundable, you find out this place is perfect for a horror movie, OMG this place is terrible , I dont know how they still operating and the City of Ft Lauderdale alaud it

The room had a very foul odor that lingered on all of our clothes and luggage and the floor was wet/sticky. There were stains on the linens and towels. The paint was peeling in the room and in the bathtub. There were cockroaches in the room. The site included information about a bar and a restaurant none of which were available and looked as though they have been closed for years. Staff was pleasant and professional. Good for the beach access.

Our room at the Sea Club Resort was smelly and dirty. I knew it was an old hotel but thought it would be fixed up! The window/balcony was unusable. The furniture was old and banged up. Carpet was dirty. Bedding had a tear in it. My husband was unwell. After he took a nap, we grabbed a taxi and moved to another hotel booked on Expedia. We are home now. As we did not stay, I'm not sure if there is any form of compensation for us, but we had to leave. There was no way we were staying the night. Staff were fine - we did not complain to them, we just left. Thank you.

Bugs crawling all over the place, fire alarm went off two next in a row in the middle of the night. Tub was an accident waiting to happen they needed a mat or gripper strips. Keys kept desensitizing. Staff was horrible!!! Never again!

Great location across from the beach. Onsite parking was convenient. There were some obvious upgrades like a shiny new kitchenette in our room, but it was otherwise kind of gross. The sheets were actually rough and scratchy. Tub enamel missing. Furniture mismatched, faded, and worn out. Interesting patch and paint job throughout just made if feel grungy. The worst part was after leaving, we notice all our belongings smelled like mildew. Had to clean everything and air out suitcases. Clothes still smell after washing. We didn't notice the smell while in the room. Building itself is just old with a lot of original items that need some love. Would have still been worth it for the cost and location if not for the mildew smell. Pool appeared well maintained but we didn't use it. Had small additional charge on our card after checkout. No idea why.

Run down old hotel

Pictures of the hotel are rather misleading. It’s a very old building and rundown. It was a maze trying to get around. The gym and the mattress might be the best redeeming qualities of this hotel. Otherwise, the daytime dest clerk was fabulous. The night auditor was missing in action. I suppose I can’t complain too much for the price, but I won’t be returning to this hotel in my future.

Sea club resort

Great front desk service. Building old & outdated. Bathroom tub, garbage can dirty . Faucets old & rusted. The bar isn’t opened. It’s been closed for a while so not updated info on hotels.com by management. Patio doors locked& patio itself was weathered. The wifi connection was terrible.
