Unexpected Stay, But No Regrets!
We were stranded when our car broke down on the way from Miami to NY, about 12 miles north of this hotel on N27 highway. After calling a tow truck and dropping the car off at Bob's Auto Service on Friday evening, we had to wait three days for repairs. Luckily, this La Quinta was just 6 miles away from the shop, and we ended up staying here for the duration.
What a pleasant surprise! We didn’t regret our decision at all.
Room & Amenities:
Our room (#318) was clean and well-equipped with a small fridge, microwave, and a nice TV that had Netflix, which was great for unwinding after a long day. The room was comfortable, though a little on the small side.
Facilities:
The small pool was clean and refreshing, perfect for cooling off in the hot Florida weather. The highlight, however, was the breakfast! You can make your own waffles, enjoy hot scrambled eggs, bagels, cereal, coffee, juices, and more. It’s a solid and satisfying start to the day.
Check-in Experience:
I was also impressed with their interactive kiosk for check-in, where you can get all the details and check in with an easy touchpoint process. The virtual assistant on the screen was a nice touch!
Minor Suggestion:
The only downside was the carpets in the room. Walking barefoot left my feet looking dirty and black, so they might want to consider removing the carpets or switching to hard floors to keep things cleaner.
