I was pleasantly surprised with the location of the property. I loved the little lake, and all the different birds that came up to the hotel. Pleasantly surprised to find the pool and hot tub were open, it made my husband happy to have it. The location was central to the beaches and visits with my family. I grew up in the area, but it has definitely expanded, big difference from 30 years ago. The staff was helpful and able to give us directions and suggestions as where to get food and how to get around the local area.

When we arrived, Eddie from front desk helped my party and I to find a room to accomodate us because the hotel was overbooked that night. Even though I had done my check in early, there was no room available with my indications, but Eddie was so kind and helpful in this situation. The next day we changed rooms to the one I chose in the original reservation.
