The property itself is up to Embassy Suites standards. Unfortunately we had problems getting assistance from the staff as we requested a bellman to help with our luggage but no one ever came. We had to track down another staff member for help. The restaurant is supposed to be open until 10 but when we entered the restaurant at 9:25 PM we were told the kitchen was closed. The hotel is conveniently located to the airport and the port but the staff seem overwhelmed and because there are so many people there on a Monday because of the cruises, the breakfast is overwhelmed. The hotel should consider adjusting their hours to a little longer time on Mondays.

Our stay was good. The breakfast was phenomenal. The only thing I thought that could have been better was for the one bedroom bathroom to have to separate entrances for the one shared bathroom.

We didn’t get to explore much. Check in was a breeze. The lobby and atrium are modern and beautiful. The rooms are large and recently renovated; the bathroom could use a facelift, but over all perfect for our one night stay. Breakfast was plentiful with so many options! More than your standard continental breakfast So close to Port Everglades cruise terminal. Would definitely stay here again!!

Computer problems delayed over 20 minutes to check in. However receptionist next to me checked in three groups while I waited. Once in the room, no blanket and only one pillow for sofa bed. Towels for two, not three. Even though it was 10:30pm, housekeeping quickly delivered with a smile . Pretty decor, spacious room. Made to order breakfast was a plus but crowded and took a while to be served.

We stayed here for a few nights before we had our cruise. The service was nice. Only a few downfalls, we decided to eat at the hotel one of the nights after being a tourist all day, the food was over priced a little considering, our balcony for our room was nice, but there was a foul smell outside everytime. I have a feeling it was the dumpster. Other than that, if we cruise again out of Fort Lauderdale, I'll most likely book this hotel again

The living area of the suite did not have AC. When I called the second time to ask for someone to check it the representative said he couldn’t believe no one told us upon check in that the AC in the living area of suite was broken. Very uncomfortable for those sleeping in the living area. Guest left trash and plates outside their doors or by the trash cans next to the elevators and it wasn’t picked up timely. One trash bag sat over 12 hours next to a trash can on our floor.

Location is close to cruise port and airport. Hotel is very dated. Courtyard area lighting is poor and dark. Embassy Suites is normally known for great breakfast spread but this location disappointed.
