First, what was good: The bed was fine and the room had a full-size refrigerator and freezer which I needed. When I arrived to check in, the door was locked and no one was there. After 10 minutes and someone else calling the motel's number, someone finally showed up but he didn't speak a word of english and I have no idea what he said to me. The walls and window are made out of paper. I heard the adults and children in the next room playing and yelling for hours on end. Every time someone closed a door, my walls shook. The rolldown blinds did not block out the daylight or the nightlights outside. The TV remote's battery cover was missing and the batteries were constantly falling out. The programming was provided by digital antenna, not cable. When I walked in the room, I was hit with a horrid smell that was like a combination of Vicks Vaporub, some cleaning product, and a disinfectant. It was absolutely awful and never dissipated during my stay. The bathroom plumbing was abysmal. It took many minutes for the sink to drain. The toilet almost overflowed twice before finally emptying. This is supposedly a family-owned business, but each person gives you different information. The 1st time I asked for a late checkout of 3pm, I was OK'd at no extra charge. The 2nd time, I was denied, asked to pay for another night, and would have had to change rooms. The 3rd time, I could stay until 5pm but would be charged 85% of the nightly charge and didn't have to move.

It's a motel with a pool. We were on first floor, so we couldn't open curtain to let light in. Area around motel was a bit poor and hard to gauge how safe. wouldn't walk around at night. Yet I didn't feel unsafe. Bottom line, room was very clean and pleasant. Owners very honest, hardworking and accomodating. I'd stay here again.

The out side doesnt do this place any justice. I thought this was going to be another rundown place but the room we has was so clean and spacious. There was a weird smell but it was not a bad or dirty smell. Other than that it was our stay here was great.

Extreme mold

This was hands down the WORST hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I checked in, it was nothing but disappointment. The room was filthy — stained sheets, a strong musty odor, and hair everywhere like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The bathroom? Disgusting. Mold in the shower, barely any water pressure, and the towels looked like they’d been reused. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. Every time I asked a question or raised a concern, I was met with attitude or completely ignored. The noise level at night was unbearable — people yelling in the halls, slamming doors, and what sounded like a party on my floor well past midnight. No security, no accountability. I didn’t feel safe, I didn’t feel clean, and I definitely didn’t feel like a paying guest. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — not even for one night. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.

The staff was friendly. Property was very clean. The bed was super comfortable, and bedding was amazing. The hotel is a little older and it appears that they are updating things slowly (for example the bed and flooring looked new) but the tub was dated and needed replacement, but it was very clean. For the price the hotel was great!
