The hotel is old and has a lot of character. The location is great and the room was fine. The water pressure wasn't great and room service was sketchy. However, the price was very good so, all in all, I'd recommend the hotel.

Shower was incredible. Small touches like bath robes and complimentary cookies go a long way in making people feel comfortable. I only want to stay at this property when visiting Farmville.

I have stayed here several time over the past four years. It’s seems customer service has gone quite a bit. The past stay when I walked into the lobby the employee was sitting down in the lounge area on her phone, didn’t greet me, I had to go to her for service. Then she had an attitude while helping me. This the 2nd time with 2 different employees this has happened. Management needs to do staff training to ensure they have good customer service.

The property was beautiful with a large walk in shower. It is a very old rustic hotel with a modern touch. We loved it. My only issue was the free breakfast was not the greatest but wouldnt stop me from going again the next time i am in Virginia. It also is easy walking distance to the cafe’s and shops in the area as well.
