The room was fairly clean but the towel bar was almost ripped off the wall in the bathroom. Black out shade was inadequate. Most places have curtains. After returning to the room after our first day out we found that someone had been in our room even though we put out the do not disturb sign. That's bad enough but whoever it was defecated in the toilet and didn't flush. They were courteous enough to put the light and fan on which I knew I had turned off when we left. Husband went to the desk and the guy that was there was in disbelief. That night I was awake at 2 in the morning because of a cold and went to the lobby with my knitting so I wouldn't wake my husband. The same guy was there who had checked us in and informed me the lobby was closed and I couldn't be there. I said I'm just going to stay a little bit longer. In about 20 minutes he came back out wanting me to leave and verified that I was a guest there. I felt something was going on there or going to happen they didn't want anyone to see. A few minutes later he came back out again telling me management said I had to leave. Next day after being out someone had been in our room again. We had left the TV on and now it was off, remote was moved and telephone cord was on top of it. We never used the phone. There was never any breakfast as advertised. Hard to believe Red Lion associates their name with this place. They refunded one night but I'd like a full refund!!

The night attendent was vary helpful and kind, thank you so much for your help. The door for our room was "particular" as I needed to use the key card pull the door in and the handle down at the same time or your standing in the hallway trying to get in your room. There is a $100.00 deposit on top of the amount due for the time stayed which we didn't get back (even though I feel as we should have). Hardwood floors, decent bed an pillows but there was some cleanliness issue as my fiancé said there was a smug of pet poo on the floor when we got there. Also, unfortunately the hallway had a very off putting smell that stank up the hallway and some what into the room.
Breakfast was from 6am til 9am… our family went to breakfast at 7:30 and there was nothing … no food or coffee… just old burritos in there mini fridge that were expired… bathroom floor in our room looked like it was never cleaned.. looked like housekeeping only made the beds ….. no local channels on t.v. … a massive amount of cigarette butts were all over the landscaping… when I told the owner who was also the front desk clerk that the bathtub never drain and our family couldn’t even take a shower he just looked at me with no explanation or even offered to unclog the drain… I had to also walk him to the breakfast area and show him there was nothing for my child to eat he just laughed about it… I would never recommend anyone to stay at that hotel… would not even offer a refund for a very bad experience….
I was injured in this room during my stay. I was promised that they would refund hotels.com back. I need to make sure this happens and I need to speak to somebody from customer service from hotels.com.
This was my terrible experience and i will not recommend this place.
1. breakfast was supposed to be between 6:30 to 9 a.m. i got there at 8:30 a.m, there was nothing left of breakfast. I ended up going to buy breakfast off site. That is not what was the worse. The worse was:
a. The refrigerator in the dinning room had a 58 F temperature instead of 41F or below. I have picture.
I have been a health officer doing food sanitation and safety for 4 years at least. Improper holding temperature is the main cause of food born illnesses.
b. The juice dispenser has an orange juice dispenser and an apple juice dispenser. after i realized there was no breakfast, i tried to get the juice from the dispenser. Only water came out with particles in it.(I also took a picture, i can post if needed). Definitely gross. The nozzle was very dirty also dropping particles into the juice or water.(I also have pictures).
c. The apple fruit (2 apples remained) were not fresh at all. they had marks showing that they have been there for a while.
2. The elevator has a permit that expired in Feb 2024. I asked about that and they said that it is updated but they are not required to display it in the elevator anymore (May be ? but if that is the case, why not remove the expired as well and stop frisking your customers out that they may be riding an uncertified elevator ?)
4. lastly, the drain hole for the bathtub was so clogged to the point that water was at my ankles level while taking shower.
No gym, although they kept promising! I picked that place for the gym but had to jog on my bad knees Horrible breakfast, tv didn’t work, key cards worked intermittently Boo.

Surroundings satisfactory. Building acceptable. Room modest, bathtub unsatisfactory. Breakfast: molded bread, no coffee, no beverages. Four cups of yogurt.
