"Great hotel very central to shops and resturants"
We had stayed on Lake Como before and were aware of the Palace Hotel so when we decided to stay in Como itself this year there was no where else that my wife wanted to stay! We booked this holiday last august and the Palace and Como itself did not disappoint.

"Great Suburban Hotel"
Lady at reception greeted us with a smile, was friendly and spoke english. Instead of a room key or card to open the door, a code is provided. This opens your room door and the main hotel door after 11.00pm, when reception is closed. After 11.00pm, self checking facilities are at the main entry door. Room 208 (internal void facing) is very quiet and relaxing, contains a comfortable king bed, self set fan and temp air conditioner, desk, in room safe, wardrobe, flat screen TV. Wifi exceptionally fast. Registration required once. Great comfortable hotel, large rooms. Location / Nearby: The hotel is about 3km from town and has both limited free off street and paid secure parking under the building for €8 per night. Nearby is the bus stop 30m, train station 350m, supermarket 300m, pizza restaurant 300m, Weiner Haus restaurant 700m. Trains to and from Como Center leave every hour and take approx 10 min to arrive. Tickets are €1.40 for 2nd class each way. Bus 6 is more regular with the cost starting at €2.50 or more, depending on the bus travel distance. This takes up to 15 mins travel time Getting to / from hotel: From Como center, bus 6 stops directly outside the hotel, or the train heading to Milan stops at Como Camerlata train station (2nd stop).

" Located right on Lake Como, near all attractions!"
Como is a beautiful spot for a relaxing getaway. Our group of 7 family members came to Como following my daughter's wedding in Cinque Terre. We enjoyed several delightful meals within walking distance of the hotel. Sightseeing nearby included the Duomo and a funicular ride up to great sightseeing spots overlooking the lake and countryside all the way to Switzerland with additional hiking and views further up. We took a ferry ride to Bellagio, stopping at several towns on the way. A perfect lunch there, followed by shopping and walking through the town was followed by a hydrofoil ride back to Como. The Albergo Terminus is a beautiful old structure, grand in every way. The rooms were adequate in every way (ours was a little larger than some in our group) and even though they were not among the recently redone rooms, they were quiet, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more accommodating. They recommended restaurants, gave directions, provided wine glasses and plates for a family gathering in one of the parlors so we could "use up" some of the champagne from the wedding. Claudia made dinner reservations 3 nights, including one night at their own restaurant, which was excellent. Antonella booked a driver to show up at 4:30 to drive 4 of us to the airport for a very early flight. Any request we made was answered with a smile and a speedy response. Breakfast, a thorough Continental, included, cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, meats.

"Very Nice Hotel"
The Hotel is a very nice hotel in a quiet neighbourhood with close access to the train station. My wife & I stayed 6 nights and my only disappointment was the free internet, it was not working for the last 5 days we were there, I reported it to the front desk several times and got the same answer that it is an open system and it is working (hence the 3 rating for staff and facilities). Only one of the front desk staff admitted that there was a problem (on the 4th day) and they are waiting on the technical people to fix it. Up to when we left the internet was still not working properly.

Erba is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Erba, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Erba hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
