I arrived on a motorcycle soaking wet, cold and two hours early for posted check in. They let me in my room immediately and I enjoyed a hot, blasting shower. Walked to the nearest restaurant for dinner. Nice, comfortable room. Well worth the price.

Very nice staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms but they are very dated and old. Lots of patches and repairs. The property has seen better days but it's totally acceptable.

I checked in then immediately checked out after seeing the room. This property is nothing like the pictures. My room was old and so was the bathroom which I figured would be the case. But on top of being old it was dirty, there were bugs crawling on the open closet wall, bug droppings in the corners of the closet and other parts of floor. The desk chair was disgusting and it was a chair that could have been rolled outside and sprayed down with soap and water. The paint was dirty and chipping or peeled off in some parts. Rust on the floor and exposed pipes in the bathroom. You can have an old place and still make it look nice and charming. I was with my 10 yr old niece who has no issues with being dirty and even she was like I’m not sleeping here. The front desk lady was very nice and cancelled the payment for me. If I could post pictures with this review I would because I took a lot.

Honestly, it was beyond my expectation! It was not super clean, but it was acceptable. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, and work desk with a clean bed! The toiletry service was good. The hair dryer was not in good condition, but it was still working. Thier staff were nice and the site was quite! I recommend this place specially if you are like me and want to visit beautiful Hicks around here!

This indeed was very good value for the price. All staff were very friendly and service oriented. There was a clean (small) pool, which was good for cooling off the kids. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again next time we pass.
