We arrived at 1:00pm after driving 6 hours. The place was completely empty…maybe 3 cars in the parking lot. I asked if it was possible to check in early but was told no because the rooms wouldn’t be clean until 3:00. Complete lie of course because they must have 100+ rooms and they couldn’t all be dirty because there was nobody there. I then asked if we could use the pool while we waited and the answer was no again. There was not a single person at or around the pool and I was not allowed to use it while I waited for my room. I had already paid $180 for this room in advance. The attitude of this rude employee was so disappointing. Apparently, customer service is not a priority for Hampton Inn. I was so disgusted that we decided to just drive another 8 hours to get home a day early even though I had already paid. Stay somewhere else if you value customer service.

Decent standard, clean room that was nicely appointed. Not much around the hotel, but not a surprise in Wells, NV.
