Appalling breakfast

Our room and stay was very good although we found breakfast appalling. The cooked breakfast was disgusting and of short supply and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to fill up the coffee jug. In hindsight i wish we had just gone out for breakfast instead.

A lovely stay at Edinburgh Marriott Hotel.

Other than the reception manager forgetting to phone me to let me know our room was ready, the staff have all been excellent. Special thanks goes to the staff working withinin the spa/fitness area, and the 2 male concierge staff who helped us to make the most of our stay. We would definitely return in the future.

Pretty great location

The hotel is located in a great place, not far from the start of the Royal Mile (although there might be others that might be more centrally located to the train of bus stations), if you need, but only 5-10 minutes by taxi.

A really lovely stay

A really lovely stay in a great hotel. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The a la carte breakfast (salmon and eggs) was excellent. The eggs were definitely free range. We would most definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely overnight stay, picked because it was close to walking to the Festival Theatre. Room was lovely and large, bathroom nice and everything clean. Staff in the the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Breakfat was very good a wide variety to choose from.
