The staff at Destiny Scotland Distillers House were phenomenal. They were so attentive and responded to email inquiries quickly! Our room happened to be ready for check-in even though we arrived at 12:30 p.m., which was lovely. Our room was on the first floor in the back of the property so we were away from any street noise. We stayed 5 nights and it was very, very comfortable and quiet!

Very straightforward and easy weekend stay at this lovely apart-hotel. Spacious and stylish and perfectly clean. Location was good and reasonably central though the road outside was noisy well into the night. Good comms with the management throughout and no problems with access etc. Parking a few mins walk away with Just Park.

Excellent high end appartment with everything we needed. Easy walk down the street to everything we needed. Quiet nights sleep considering how close it was to the main street. Very secure and safe. Only complaint was that we were not aware how difficult it was to find parking. Ended up a half mile from the appartment but we made the best of it.

Excellent spacious apartment done to a very good spec. Only thing to consider is the noise from traffics if you’re in the flat on the bottom corner. Not drastic but I was aware of it.

Great place to stay in terms of access to the city. It’s near a transportation hub so access to getting places is easy. Great restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the castle, royal mile, etc…. The place was modern in stylings. The flat was on the 3rd floor (there is no lift) which wasn’t really an issue for us and we liked the space and view.

I absolutely loved my stay at Destiny Scotland’s Distillers House. The building is stunning, classic Edinburgh charm with modern, stylish interiors. My apartment was spacious, spotless, and beautifully furnished with high ceilings and all the comforts of home, including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Haymarket Station and close to major attractions like Princes Street and the Royal Mile, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Self-check-in was smooth, and communication with staff was prompt and professional. Everything felt well thought out, from the high-quality linens to the great shower and fully equipped kitchen. Though there’s no elevator, I had no issues with the stairs, but it’s something to keep in mind for those with mobility concerns. Overall, this was the perfect home base for exploring Edinburgh. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and convenient place to stay.
