Friendly staff good choice for restaurant or very close to take away and steak house. Comfortable bed and very clean room, working aircon. Will stay again when next working in the area

Beautiful location next to the park and stadium. I arrived in the middle of the heat wave, and the room had no AC, not even a fan or anything, it was a bit hard to rest, only in the night was pleasant, staff was helpful and informative. Breakfast was definitely the highlight of the stay.

It was perfect

Conveniently located, just a block away from the train station. Very walkable area. Generally speaking, not in the 'best' area of Frankfurt but I never felt unsafe. The hotel itself, is in an older historical building, which I loved. Very high ceilings, and lots of airy space. Oversized space in general. The room was very spacious, and the Queen size bed was as comfy, as a harder than usual bed can be. After travelling through Germany, the hard bed seems to be the norm, so I wouldn't call it a hotel issue. The room didn't have air conditioning, but the windows opened right up which gave a nice cross breeze later in the evening. Even with the warmer than average temps' I was never uncomfortably hot. The mini fridge in the room came in handy. Larger than average bathroom, with a larger than average tub - perfect for soaking in after a day on your feet. The room was dusty; lamp + lampshades, and the one light on the desk didn't work. When I opened the tall bureau, dust bunnies came floating out. The young lady at the front desk was extremely sweet. She was easy to talk to, and answered many of my questions about the area, and Germany in general. I really enjoyed my small chats with her. She also expressed how she really enjoyed working at the hotel, which made me feel even better about staying there. I would easily recommend this hotel to anyone - it's quiet and calm, and a great place to land after a busy day.

The hotel itself is beautiful but the staff were amazing! They were all so friendly and helpful in every aspect with helping with our very heavy luggage to booking dinner reservations for us. The location is fantastic for restaurants, shopping, and an evening walk along the waterfront. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice hotel with amazing staff

From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome and introduced us to the property. The bar and dining room were convenient and top notch. Breakfast provided many tasty choices. The location made it convenient to get around to the train station, shopping mall and city sights via taxi or Uber. I look forward to staying with Meliá again.
