I walked in on a Monday evening. Room was moldy, wet, and disgusting. I walked down and politely said I could not stay in the room. No help, nothing, just take it up with expedia. Neither expedia nor the hotel would help in any way. I paid for an entire week, Mon to Fri and didn't even get a partial refund. I even booked the new hotel through expedia and nothing. I would give this hotel a 0 if I could. We couldn't breathe in the room. We could taste the mold in the room. Expedia will not help you either in any circumstances. I will never ever book anything through expedia ever again and definitely don't recommend this disgusting hotel. Obviously the positive reviews on expedia are complete lies because the place should be shut down.

Bears broke my door handle!

This is our 3rd time staying at this location. The staff was friendly and brought extra things to our room quickly that we ran out of during our week stay. We love the location! Close to alot of attractions but also away enough so you can relax.

We were in Tennessee around the second week of July 2026. The Wild Bear Inn was Awesome, rooms, pool and the grounds were very maintained. The restaurant and lounge were a wonderful plus. The girls Siearra and Brianna at the front desk were the Best! They were pleasant and friendly every time we saw them. Our breakfast was eaten at their restaurant every morning, the pancakes were great and I'm not a big pancake fan!! Be sure to try them! We had a small issue with opening our room door, the key worked but our door stuck. I went to the office and ask if we could be moved to another room that would open easier and there wasn't a problem with it at all even told us to take our time getting moved. They gave us another room on the ground floor and it was just perfect. By the way they are dog friendly and my Jasmine even like our stay. I highly recommend that you stay here while visiting Pigeon Forge!! ⭐ 😁

Didn’t like location of room. Hardly got any sleep

This was our second time staying at this location. It has an older design and isn't the most modern property but it is well kept. The location is close enough to all the attractions but far enough to be nice and quiet.

Meh wouldn’t book again. Nothing special about the property. Run down accommodations. Booked the suite for the fireplace and jetted tub. Fireplace didn’t work and the jetted tub left filth in the water after use. Shower stall was extremely tiny almost unusable. Office doesn’t open til 8 so don’t expect an earlier morning coffee to be available let alone the pathetic “grab n go” breakfast options.
