"Away from the madness"
It was a short but wonderful stay at AlSol. From the beautiful entrance, that felt like something out of a Hollywood mansion, to the uncrowded pool were you were able to soak up all the sun without any hassle from solicitors (& the great swim up bar). This beauty is away from all of the tourist attractions in a secluded gated area of Cap Cana. Not exactly a place for kids due to lack of activities but that pool can keep anyone entertained. A wonderful place for a romantic getaway. Oh and be sure to hang out with Nachito Guacamole, the sweetest little pup that hangs out by the pool.. you won't regret making friends with that little guy.

"Family Preferred Club Room"
Overall, we found the resort to be very accommodating, friendly, and fun. It is a family resort for sure. People of all ages and were present. We upgraded to the "Preferred Club" area of the resort, and found it to be well worth it. The hotel has two Preferred sections located on the outsides of the resort grounds. One is "adults only" and one is for families. We have a 10 year old daughter and stayed on the family side. The preferred club gives you access to all of the main resort areas, beaches, pools, restaurants, bars, casino, etc as any other bookings. Plus you get access to private pools, bars, and beach areas for preferred club guests only. And you have your own private reception area where there is always a layout of food: continental breakfast or afternoon hors d'oeuvre style snacks...with a dedicated server. Also a private concierge and wifi modem in the room! While we have not experienced a stay without this preferred status, we believe it was well worth the small upgrade fee to have the extra attention and perks. Other things: Dinner restaurant ranking: Japanese, Seaside Grill, Oceana, Italian, Buffet. Did not eat at French or Olio (adults only) Shows are fun: same cast in most, but the dancing is pretty good..not world class..but better than average. Variety show and Taino Shows were best. Beach area: not great snorkeling, very shallow, no waves, lunch served on beach everyday, safe Main pool area: Where the action is

We've had a great time at this hotel! The staff was really friendly! At the reception desk they spoke good enough English. All other staff was always smiling and working hard. The rooms were fine, we stayed in block 9, which was conveniently located close to the pool/beach and restaurant. The buffet restaurant was excellent, lots of choices of fresh foods. Everything we tasted was delicious. We also live in the Caribbean so we know how hard is it to keep everything clean and fresh in high temperatures, but we did not see any cockroach or rat. The waiting time in the restaurant or bar was never long. The property is very beautiful and well maintained, and the kids loved all the different ducks and birds at the bridges. The entertainment at night was fun, the kids loved the minidisco with Sugardy and dancing afterwards. We've only been to the theater once, because it started at 10 pm, which was a bit too late for our kids, but we loved the Dominican dances, very professional! If there's anything that could be improved, I'd advise the hotel to clean the pool more often (especially in the afternoon) and remove the garbage around the pool to avoid the bees coming for your drink (bring or buy a thermos!). For future guests: try to avoid the well-spoken 'lifestyle vacation' salesguys, they are luring you into a sales meeting with very pushy sales people. Overall we had a fantastic time and we'd love to come back someday!

"Gorgeous hotel. Will definitely go again "
AC in room was amazing, really really cold. Our room had a pool and it was close to beach. First day our room was cleaned after 5pm but I called and complained and then it was clean by noon every day after. Paying for preferred club was a good thing more for beach area then anything else. Rosanna our cocktail waitress by beach was A+++. Guys only need plants for ITALIAN and French restaurants and NOT for hibachi and Seaside grill. We are at 6:30 when restaurants open and then are at buffet later on if we wanted something else this was a great choice as the restaurants get very busy and they don't take reservations. They give you a beeper and you can hang out and drink while you wait which is not bad either :) Overall we were very happy but felt they needed more employees in restaurants but being that we ate early it didn't affect us at all. We were at beach by 8am to get nice beach chairs and then left our beach stuff and went to eat breakfast and after breakfast started with melosas at beach by 9:30am :)

East National Park is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in East National Park, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your East National Park hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
