The property was nicely maintained and it was great to see other guests out walking their dogs. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were on the stiffer side but for the price it was a very nice place to stay overall. There's definitely been a lot of care put into this hotel recently.

We booked here knowing it wasn’t anything fancy - but were extremely disappointed with our experience. The lobby seems nice enough, but rooms were not. Upon checkin, we were informed that we would be in a smoking room - because it was all that was available. We never would have even made the trip had we known this. The room felt sticky and humid, the windows were dirty, and there were crumbs and dirt all over the floor. The walls and baseboards and bathroom needed cleaned. The area is decent - but the immediate parking lot and surroundings are full of garbage, loiterers, and noise. It was overall very disappointing.

I like the size of the rooms. It showed it was a no smoking room but smelled like someone had been smoking in there. The shower hod mold all around the upper part of the tub-yuk. It sounded like people in the room above us 121 were moving around furniture in the room about 7:30am on Sunday.

Remember it was a motel 6

Motel 6 only expect so much…room was okay and bathroom was clean. Staff was reasonable and stayed at this hotel because dog friendly and just needed a bed for soccer tournament.

It's very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. It's less than a block from the Duluth Grill and popular breweries are within easy walking distance. I'm a 62 year old female and felt comfortable walking, even in the evening. Easy drive to Canal Park. I always choose this hotel when I go to Duluth.
