Poorly maintained, missing paint, drywall damage in room, missing toilet seat, stained tub

The staff get high marks for being incredibly hospitable. I believe our room is the last to be rented out, so I can’t speak for the other rooms. As soon as we walked in it smelled freshly cleaned, which I do appreciate. The room is way overpriced in my opinion as it’s dated, small and dark. Some toiletries were not restocked and there were only two bath towels available. I would suggest asking for another set as one set does not dry in time to be ruses the next day. Door to bathroom does not latch. Decor is a few inexpensive items hung on the wall (not a deal breaker). We did love the location of the hotel and having The Lakely steps away with great entertainment saved our stay. Parking is also convenient.

Stephanie’s home was spectacular!I recommend getting there within the check in time because her historical tour & info is phenomenal! We unfortunately were late and she still accommodated & treated us so well. The rooms are amazing. Her cooking breakfast was so yummy! Penny the scruffy little dog is so cute. I wish we had more time but we’re on a mission to get to Crosby, MN for mtb. It would be nice to enjoy the screen porch in the evening. We hope to visit & stay again soon. Everything was good. Clean Room. Quiet. Breakfast selection could have been better.

My stay was extremely disappointing. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor, and there was dog hair throughout the hallway. The smell of smoke was noticeable as soon as I walked in. Even worse, there was dog urine on the entryway floor. Loud dogs barking.The drywall near the sink was damaged and torn off. This property needs significant attention to cleanliness and maintenance

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful, clean and easy access to the interstate. We will stay there again next year.
