Its pretty obvious this property has fallen behind on its list of maintenance items as both rooms we booked had multiple items needing repair. Cleaning was not very good either. On a positive note, the breakfast was good. And the swimming pool was ok.. although the hot tub was unavailable, covered with a tarp..

Great location! Awesome history. Extremely attentive innkeeper. Great all around experience.

Due to extreme weather causing damage to the building, everyone had to evacuate. The staff was professional and helpful, but they were unable to secure rooms for all of us in other hotels. Things would have been fine if the weather had cooperated. Until the evacuation, we were satisfied with the hotel. So my “okay” rating would have been higher under normal circumstances.

Very fun place

The hotel is older. The room we had was standard 2 queen beds. The sink had a small leak so we put a wastebasket under to catch drips. We told the front desk about the leak when we left in the morning.

Room was not as advertised on Expedia. The room I thought I was booking was supposed to have a balcony and a view. We were in a basement room with no view. It was acceptable only because it was 1 night and the historical building had no elevator. The staff did offer to switch rooms for us. The facility itself was fine, but the misrepresented property by Expedia was frustrating.
