The motel seemed like an abandoned building where the homeless had taken over. It was creepy! My husband and I are in our 70s. There was no elevator and we were on the second floor at the back of the motel. The exterior door by the staircase did not close and remained open about 4 inches. The mattress was in the shape of a V and was very thin. The TV did not work. I had booked a 2-night stay, but we left early in the morning after the first night. It was a waste of money on our limited budget. The bathroom on the first floor was disgusting! All the toilets were full and would not flush.

Check in was helpful and friendly. Got to room and tried to hang my clothes up. There was no cloths bar in the closet. The mattress is a 6 inch topper on top of box springs. Quite uncomfortable, Got up to take a shower and the water was luke warm at best in the shower. The sink had hot water. Reported the problem to the receptionist in the more. Nothing was done, no offer to change rooms. Talked to receptionist in the evening. He referred me to the maintenance man. The night maintenance man blew me off. Went to use the microwave. It did not work. I've stayed at this property before and had a good experience. This stay is way below the quality I expect from Hampton Inn.

Best thing: front desk attendant allowed me to check in 45 minutes early. She was very nice. I was on the 4th floor. Ice machine did not work. Blow dryer in room did not work. Went to lobby to purchase water, dt. coke, etc....Would only take cash, no debit card. Overall, I would go 3.5.
