Dickens Vacation Packages

To be fair the room was recently remodeled but appeared to be not quite finished. However, the place was not overly clean, especially the floors that obviously needed vacuuming. The worst parts of the stay were the A/C which was on the verge of total failure with the fan about to fall out making so much noise and the water which was only at a trickle. They explained that this was because the main was damaged and in the process of being repaired. O.K but they should not have rented the room out at the full rate.

Very unique and enjoyable historic property. If you are in the area you must try it out!

Restrooms were not cleaned. Stains on the sheets.

Our room wasn’t horrible. But it Could have been more clean. Our door didn’t have a chain lock and the dead bolt lock wouldn’t lock either. Toilet paper holder was broken. We also ended up with a room right next to the highway. So we didn’t sleep very good due to traffic being super loud. Staff was very helpful and kind.

Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff. Marsha is the best!
